Democrats in three top southern Senate races are holding their own and even running ahead in a few cases against Republicans in a new poll out Monday. A new series of NBC News/Marist polls show Democrats in Arkansas, Kentucky and Georgia are running even or ahead of their GOP opponents.

"We hate conservatives and we'll spend millions to prove it." seems to be the current message.

A likely voter model without certain balances and you’d be correct. If you can produce a registered voters poll that is remotely near the mark of accuracy, I’d love to see it.
Hopefully democrats spend lots of $$$ trying to win in the South. LOL.
I thought when he announced that Cotton might be trying to move too fast. He hasn’t even finished his term as state Rep before jumping into the Senate race.
Pryor & associates have been running some very negative ads.
One claims Cotton took evil corporate money. [Uhhh, salary? Of course, the ad doesn’t specify that. How much corporate money has Pryor received? But I digress.]
Such partial truth ads feed the LIVs who don’t bother to check the facts.
Pryor runs another ad claiming that Cotton voted against Medicare and voted to extend the age to qualify to 70. Pryor doesn’t tell voters that he voted for Obamacare, which uses Medicare funds to pay help pay for it.
Cotton needs some more effective come-back ads. His ad in response to Pryor’s snide remark about Cotton’s military service was weak and silly.
Maybe Cotton is holding out, waiting until closer to the election. But he definitely needs to improve the quality and content of his ads.
You’re needlessly panicking. J. William Fulbright served just one term in the U.S. House before he managed to knock off the venerable incumbent Senator Hattie Carraway. Pryor is extremely vulnerable and he knows it. This poll is bollocks.
I left off the “/s” on purpose.
The only thing Cotton can be hit on is the intervention in Syria and Ukraine.
I don’t know if it will play out in November.
If Boehner sends an immigration bill to the Senate he is giving Pryor, Landrieu and Hagan a chance to safely vote against it.
It’ll be a cold day in Hell when I ever pull a lever for a Dem.
What a pity it doesn’t really work that way.
No, it is a slow process but will eventually hit the fan.
I remember when they came up with “The Dream Team” in Texas.
The MSM said it was going to be like Ann Richards was back in town.
They got creamed.
In their dreams Michelle Nunn wins in GA. Not a chance.
The last Dem I voted for was Joe Lieberman against Lowell P Wackjob. I didn’t care for LPW and Lieberman as a state senator was a bit right of center.
I think they've solidified the cheat machine in the places that matter, and so they have to create the news in order to match the rigged "reality".
Exactly. Never again should Freepers discount the polls. I know I never will. I learned my lesson in 2012. A very painful lesson.
Then you’re just a left wing Democrat in my book.
Oh I didn’t read your post about being facetious. Sorry.
You can’t be serious..
Does anyone think NBC would release a poll that is not cooked for the Dems.
The network finances the DNC .
Who the heck hires a third rate polling firm like Marist unless they want cooked results.
the only polling firms that are worse are PPP or QU !
I just recall the VA Gov race and the Obama media polls and the K St stooges at Hotair said it was a wipe out for Ken C based in a cooked PPP polls.
He lost by 3 %!
Don’t fall for the Dem Media spin which is coming non stop.
Well Arkansas did give us the Klintons. The only thing southern about Kentucky is that they play in the SEC. They are way too far north for me to be called southern. NC, SC, VA, GA, FL, AL, MS, TN, ARK, LA, eastern TX, are the southern states to me. KY was not a southern succession state in the war of Northern Aggression. WV broke away from VA to join the north. So they are out. So those are it for me. KY ain’t southern.
I am done nose holding also. I am also not falling for the “we have to vote for X to keep Y out of blank office.” I vote only for people that I can agree with. If they ain’t in my ball park, I skip voting that race and move on down the ballot. No more voting party lines for me. The stinking RINOs are not getting my vote to keep them in office.
