Svoboda Freedom (formerly known as Social Nationalist party (The Nazis being the National Socialist party) having 1/4 of the temporary govt positions and being in bed with Right Sector makes Kiev legitimate? Coups are legitimate?
I don't know anything about this party. Under a Parliamentary system colations are almost always a necessity though. Generally there are many parties, and coalitions are need to make up a clear majority. It doesn't necessariliy mean that a party that forms a coaltion with antoher party would have to agree with it's tenets.
When the KKK's members used to vote with the Democrats, it was because the Dixie Demorats were comfortable being a part of the KKK. In the 1990s when David Duke was endorsing the Republican Party candidates, it wasn't because the Republicans favored the Klan. It was because the Demcorats had become so objectionable to the Klan, that it preferred to support Republicans. The KKK was a ship without a port.I submit that this type of dynamic takes place in a Parliamentary system.
The WH initially said that the coup in Egypt that overthrew the Muslim Brotherhood was apparently illegitemate in their eyes and thus they could not get any foreign aid from the U.S. Okay...
I guess Obama gets to decide what is and isnt legitimate... Okay...
Social Nationalist and/or National Socialist Party: worst political parties that can be conceived. We must all stand with the Jewish people!
And who says we shouldn't?
Under a Parliamentary system, the minor parties don't get a controling voice. They merely get a voice. If a bad party is there, soemtimes a coalition is necessary so the decent larger party can be elected. I does not mean that the larger party agrees with all the groups in it's coalition, and will drive their agenda home. It merely means that it needs the coalition to get it's own agenda implemented.
