On this weekend’s “The McLaughlin Group,” Daily Beast columnist Eleanor Clift laid out the same reasoning for the Sept. 11, 2012 terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi as Bill Maher had on Friday, which was to still blame the now infamous YouTube video.

Reuters: "Gunmen from Islamist group Boko Haram stormed a boarding school in northeast Nigeria overnight and killed 29 pupils, many of whom died in flames as the school was burned to the ground, police and the military said on Tuesday. ... All those killed were boys. No girls were touched, [Police Commissioner Sanusi] Rufai said."
What difference does it make? They were just boys who died from smoke inhalation, right, Eleanor?

I think there’s a larger issue here. It’s pure disconnect. It’s the definition of lunacy.
If you look at the lib talking points being posted around the internet in comments about Benghazi stories, the are somewhat predictable, but running in a dangerous direction...It’s Bush derangement syndrome run wild. Total denial and obfuscation.
If Trey Gowdy is able to get at the facts, and he seems to be a man who will try as best he can, there will be zero acceptance of those facts by the liberal base and the administration. Then what?
Congressman Gowdy has often pointed out the danger of an administration that ignores the law. The Speaker is too weak to back up this investigation, look at his refusal to go after Lois Lerner.
I fear this investigation will clearly show wrongdoing by the administration, and the Emperor’s reply will be “What difference does it make” writ large. The Republicans will then roll over and do nothing.

Well, since we have “leaked” reports vs. nothing else, there is nothing to compare them to.
I’ll cheerfully change my mind if and when new evidence is provided. Until then it’s useless to speculate about how he “really” died.
No data is no data.
Also, I’d like to point out that exactly how and when he died makes very little difference, except to him and his family.
The relevant issue is that American diplomats were left hanging without adequate security, and much more critically, at some point in the evening somebody made a decision not to scramble forces to ride to their rescue.
There is a probability the ambassador was dead before they could have gotten there, anyway. And at least a very good chance the security guys would have been killed before rescue.
But what I find unforgivable is the decision not to try. You don’t abandon your men. You just don’t.
The boys were roasting s’mores and it all got a bit out of control.

Clift seems to me to be the epitome of spoiled rotten liberal Obama/Clinton apologist and Bush Basher who thinks she’s got it all going on because she always supports and excuses the Democrat no matter what.
