It’s even more complicated than that, the universe
only exists NOW, it doesn’t exist in the future
and it doesn’t exist in the past...

The passage of time is relative, and depends entirely on the observer. To the photon that started it's journey to what us is 13 billion years ago, no time has elapsed at all.
