Church officials say they will “combat evil” by hosting a positive worship service to counter a Harvard group’s Satanic mass planned for Monday evening. The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston will host a Eucharistic procession from MIT to a nearby church for an hour of prayer, The Boston Globe reports. The religious procession will end up at St. Paul’s Parish in Harvard Square, just a 10-minutes walk from the Queen’s Head Pub in Memorial Hall the Harvard Extension Cultural Studies Club is set to hold a “black mass.” A black mass is a ritual performed as a parody of the Roman Catholic Mass. In an official statement, the Archdiocese said it fears that people who partake in the ceremony are “underestimating the power of Satan.” Club members say that they are holding the service for educational purposes, but church officials say that the service is offensive.

This is a huge offense to christianity. I have to he there soon, and as a Catholic I feel like I am betraying God. As far as I am concerned the place is cursed.Im horrified, but at least this makes me feel better.

It is an offense not just to Catholics or all Christians, but anyone who believes in God.
It is also incredibly stupid and dangerous. They are fools.
Why would they burn a Quran at a Satanic Mass?
More likely they would venerate it.
Personally, I think permitting the Satanist to hold a Black Mass is perfectly OK.
After all, that's what freedom of religion is all about. If freedom of religion didn't have Satanism and Islam in mind (and I think it didn't), perhaps we need to amend the Constitution.
And keep in mind...better to be able to identify your enemy than have him hiding.

While not Catholic I support them on this one.
To stand with them is to stand with Christ, and I want to be wherever Christ is, regardless of denomination.
Pull the fire alarm. Ruin the mood.
Yet, much better to have this stuff out in the open than not.
That said, these children are playing with FIRE. But what the heck...have at it. See where this path leads.
For those of you who think God is offended...I think you are wrong. Of course all evil offends God, but this is still just part of the concept of free choice.
If we humans don't have free choice, we are just robots...and God doesn't want Robots (they are too predictable).
Though I certainly don't know, it appears that some humans have the "bad seed." And the sorting of the sheep and the goats is simply a matter of letting humans with the "bad seed" identify themselves and choose their eternity.
This is all infinitely above me...but there seems to be a clearly identifiable pattern at work.
It is going to get rough. I hope I have the strength to stand with Christ when the true horror comes. Pray for us all.

They are truly in the dark as to what they are playing with here. This is dangerous stuff.

I agree that there are people who are just plain bad, no matter what you try to do with and for them. Harvard is loaded with resources to educate anyone who wants to and yet, this is the garbage they spew out now.
As for a roommate, this is another reason I hope I never need one. Loaded dice and I would likely get burned badly.

Could be that God is:
1. Sad that these people are choosing this over Him
2. Prepping to end up pushing back against Harvard in one way or another
3. Planning on delivering a double whammy to the United States because of our blatant rejection of His blessings that we’re obviously throwing back in His face
4. Planning on delivering a double whammy to the State of Massachusetts, ironically the place where the concept of our country was born
5. Deciding to give up and then begin Armageddon
As much as this kills me to type, the fanatics in the Middle East can use this to justify attacking us. They can shriek about how we’re devil worshipers and use this 24/7 on Al Jazeera to propagandize about our final step into the Abyss.
I do wonder what wealthy Arabs sending their children to Harvard think of this new development. Surely a lot of Muslim parents have heard about this and will be freaking out. Withdrawing donations and likely screeching about how the Great Satan has become open in our evil.
I don’t think it’s okay at all. Messing with satan is very dangerous. Promoting evil is very dangerous. Allowing your children to worship satan is very dangerous. They will be sorry. Why would anyone want to worship satan?
