Yup. The Obama reign has certainly directed America's trajectory right towards the dumpster.
But the majority of Americans voted for him (probably ... maybe), so can't say that the trajectory is undeserved.

A few hoped Obama would fail at his attempt to fundamentally change the United States. But now with the ‘new normal’ trending our fundamentals downward, it looks like Obama HAS succeeded.
Society is sustained by warranted trust. Obama and his company of myrmidons have launched a concerted effort to demoralize and divide a nation with constant eruptions of controversy and corruption. Almost as if they prick and prod just to agitate.
Democracy (and Republics) require a lot of commitment, a lot of energy to maintain and a great deal of faith. Once that effort is abandoned, human nature rushes toward authoritarianism. Which is exactly what the Left wants. Power.
