Shootings on the city's South and West sides left two people dead and at least five others wounded late Tuesday and early this morning.
About 9:50 p.m., two men were shot in the 7900 block of South Vincennes Avenue in the Gresham neighborhood.
Two assailants approached on foot and started shooting, police said. A witness told relatives the two had been inside the restaurant when the two walked in.

Was it just me or was that article a littler hard to read? Glad to see Chicago shooting rate has dropped so much lately.
This story is total BS.
There are laws that say that these people are not allowed to have guns, so how can this be true?
It’s hard to believe but out of about a dozen shootings in one day, not one of the shooters was apprehended. This includes shootings in broad daylight, in public areas.
They can quickly capture late tax payments and traffic fines however.

Yep. I noticed the article like most others these days are written at a 7 grade level. Apparently proofreaders and editors are a thing of the past.
