President Barack Obama says disquiet and a sense of frustration in the country are fueling cynicism about government that could hurt Democratic turnout in the November elections.
In a sober political assessment, Obama tells Democratic donors he feels a sense of urgency about the election and needs the Senate to remain Democratic. Republicans have a chance to win control of the Senate this year.

A President who uses his bully pulpit to mock and taunt Americans, who incites his followers to be confrontational, creates an atmosphere of incivility and violence.
Widespread corruption within the "Justice" department that has led to the murder of Mexican nationals as well as our own border patrol agents? Crony capitalism that has enriched Democrat party donors? A President for whom leisure on the scale of an Ottoman Prince appears to be more important than the welfare of his country? Does this frustrate us?
Are we bothered by the replacement of God by a sordid and disgusting worship of celebrity? Are we disquieted by the open and deliberate elevation of every form of perversion as the "new normal" and our own objections relegated to the status of hatred and bigotry? Possibly so. Possibly so to all of that.
This is not the time for gentle bipartisanship that has always been turned against us. It is a time for rage. It is a time for uncompromising rejection of healers who have turned out to be monsters. It is unlikely to cease in November. Time for pushback and a little respect, earned but not granted, and so now demanded.
Was the bloody Behghazi Massacre a State Department approved massacre, or just a well-planned end result of a tightly controlled Foreign Policy that leads from behind?

OCOH clearly lists a partial list of the desired effects of “getting to the bottom” of a useful crisis as follows:
* Attention will be directed away from HE-WHO chose which crisis-of-the-day was worthy of his arrogant attention, usually requiring a teleprompter set, but often just the simple use of a pen or a phone;
