Sacramento, CA – Tea Party Express, the nation’s largest Tea Party political action committee, is proud to announce its endorsement of Ben Sasse, who has continued to expand his conservative support in the election to represent Nebraska in the United States Senate. Tea Party Express’ Executive Director Taylor Budowich said, “America’s economic decline is rooted in the ‘we’ll-deal-with-it-tomorrow’ culture of Washington, D.C. If we are going to turn things around, we need to elect leaders that are willing to tackle America’s biggest problems with bold ideas. That’s why Tea Party Express is endorsing Ben Sasse for the U.S. Senate.

“Ben Sasse has made a career out of solving problems in the private and public sector. At both Boston Consulting Group and McKinsey and Company, Ben helped to successfully turn around companies ranging from airlines to manufacturing. More recently, Ben has saved Nebraska’s Midland University from closure and turned it into the fastest growing university in the region.

"As the Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services during the Bush Administration, he was a tireless voice for entitlement reform and cutting back the excesses of the federal government. While some wait to fix problems tomorrow, Ben Sasse faces them head-on. That’s exactly the kind of leader that will be a welcomed addition to the U.S. Senate.

Mr. Ben Sasse may very well be a preferable candidate, but keep in mind where the money is flowing, per campaign financial reports from the source "Tea Party Express" "Three well-known groups — the Tea Party Patriots, the Tea Party Express and the Madison Project — have spent 5 percent or less of their money directly on election-related activity during this election cycle..." "...The Tea Party Express, a PAC run out of Sacramento by longtime Republican consultant Sal Russo, has paid Russo’s firm $2.75 million since the beginning of 2013, while donating just $45,000 to candidates and spending less than $162,000 on ads and bus tours supporting their election..." http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3149644/posts
