We have primaries to select two candidates by primaries. Just two are candidates, a democrat and a Republican. all others are pretenders, spoilers.

Once romney became the candidate he is the nominee and the only alternative to Barack Obama........All the conservative litmus tests are then invalid. A Republican or Obama? That is the question conservatives refused to answer. Many chose the cowards way out and lacking the backbone to make a decision, did not. I can almost see it happening again. Every high minded conservative and his sister is going to try to run. There will be such a split the GOPe candidate will win again. Then conservatives will spit and stay home out of spite.
