nah...... self righteous conservatives pushing their own narrow agendas will never agree on a conservative candidate with enough continuity to win
I watched the process for months....... right here on Free Republic.
That is precisely what allowed Mitt to be nominated

Those wascally self-righteous conservatives. How dare they want a candidate who opposes abortion and obamacare and such. Damn purists!

No, it was compromising idiots like yourself voting for him in the Primaries and leading the GOP to believe that you would vote whomever they put up.
And it was Romney himself, whose own record declared him a lying Progressive Liberal pretend conservative.
Where do you draw the line bert?
When do you say enough is enough in the leftward drift of the GOP?
It certainly is not the total lack of limited government policy positions, they have none.
Apparently it is not Amnesty, because Tillis will be a reliable Amnesty toadie, that's why Rove and the others backed him.
Is it Abortion Bert, because Mitt Romney was all for Abortion.
Are you OK Bert with compromising on the Gay Agenda? Because a good part of the GOP is ready do that as well.
Is winning everything Bert, or do you ever really stand firm on conservative principles?!
