Obamacare is a good idea

That statement reminds me of NBC quoting out of context or editing to suit their agenda.

I had never heard of this politician Tillis until now, but I think I heard his statement on TV news which was "Obamacare is a good idea which we can not afford". (paraphrasing to the best of my memory)

Dr. Greg Brannon. Endorsed by most major conservative groups, Mike Lee, Rand Paul, Mark Levin. As usual, Rove’s money did its magic.

Thank you for that information. First of all that Conservatives did well in Texas at the State level. That is good to hear. My knowledge of Texas was basically the National Senate seat by Cornyn. Secondly, for the info on Rove. I guess Rove is more powerful then we give him credit for. Voters at the end of the day really rule the results.

I’m not sure the context makes this any better. Do you think Obamacare is a good idea... AT ALL?!

Even if we could afford it, government involvement in healthcare is wrong, period.

If there are Freepers that support the GOP-e and still think they are conservative, then they really need to look in the mirror and wonder why the hell they are here.

Ok NOW I know who he is..the weird quote about “Obamacare is a good thing” which was totally taken out of context..I Heard about this a few days ago, at least now I can match a statement to a face..and Brannon, he didn’t come close? Yeah when it comes to Rove’s money unfortunately his sleazy tactics always seem to win

Thanks. I did not know we did so well at the state level. It looks like we are working from the bottom up which might be just as well.

government involvement in healthcare is wrong,

You don't think the VA is doing a good job providing health care to our vets?

Its the money (mainly on TV ads and mailers) that seem to work really well, and Rove is essentially a funneling device for the Chamber of Crony Capitalists to sink their money directly into candidates who will serve their interests (growing government in Washington)

“Obamacare is a good idea, but we can’t afford it”

There’s your context. Now, is that something you agree with?

The best choice in my opinion is whoever has the best chance of beating Hagan in general. I just want Harry Reid lose majority leadership position, and don’t care who will help do that.

Last thing I wish for is another Christine O’Donnell or Sharon Angle or Ken Buck or Mourdock de ja vu. They all lost a winnable seat.

funny thing it seems there are Freepers on here willing to compromise on the gay agenda as seen in recent threads discussing Chick-Fil-A and their recent glad handling of the queers.

I’m in the same camp as JimRob, who was totally loathed to support Romney, and only did so with anguish. I don’t think JimRob would back Bush or Krispy in 2016, and I will stand with him and others on that.

True, but its also not good to have someone who thinks that Obamacare is a good thing..because when you look at the two, you can’t really tell the difference between the R and the D that isn’t good at all..but that quote he said is the only thing I know about him until now I had no clue who he even was

One serious question, I have actually been impressed with North Carolina the last few years with all the abortion laws and voting laws that passed that were conservative. Does Tillis get credit for that since he was in charge of the State House?

Why do you refuse to mention Berg, Allen, Rehberg, McMahon, Lingle, Thompson, Hoekstra, Mack?

Oh, yeah. Those are establishment candidates who got creamed.

All it means is he thinks ObamaCare would be better if Republicans were running it.

Some credit, but the senate has been more conservative than the house. Tillis tried to push a state exchange and was stopped by the senate. In fact, the NC senate is one of the best in the county.
