Megyn Kelly is reporting that so far Thom Tillis is doing VERY well.
Bye bye Kay Hagan...

If that happens then we are DONE. I can’t believe Freepers giving you grief for wanting the conservative to win. Are Freepers now siding with RINOs? Haven’t we learned anything with the RINO GOP-e after several elections now? Are we that stupid to still keep voting for these losers?
You see, RINOs dont have principles. They will vote for ANYONE who isn’t Democrat. It’s why John McShame keeps winning in Arizona.
There were several good candidates in the race for the Senate.
I believe the fact that he presided over the NC House with a Republican majority - a House that did many great things in the cause of conservatism. The dems are gasping and screaming. The NAACP can’t stop blustering. I think his work leading the legislature elevated him, even if he did receive endorsements from the establishment.
Hopefully if the UKIP does well in Britain, it will lead to the formation of the USIP here.
This was a disastrous result and the Freepers applauding, I hope they enjoy senators who think Obamacare is a good idea. Delusional.
Spoken like the voters who brought us an Obama second term because his opponents were not good enough.
There is a large Karl Rove sympathizers club on FR who want all Freepers to come out and vote for their establishment turds, even after those establishment turds publicly state that obamacare is a good idea, publicly support Commie Core, support shamnesty etc. etc. etc.
They are the ultimate Fifth Column.
I REALLY dislike the Bush family. If Jeb runs, I will work as hard as I can in the primary to defeat him.
If I am unsuccessful, and he winds up being the most conservative candidate in the general election, then yes I will vote for him.
If he becomes President, and there is a more conservative candidate that challenges him in the primary in 2020, then I will work to get that candidate elected.
I realize this approach won’t work for some, but I have used it my entire life, and I never have any personal angst come election day.
Ummm. I think Obama won because his opponents weren’t good enough. If you honestly think Romney was a great candidate, you must be smoking something. He totally froze after the second debate and never recovered. His loss was ENTIRELY down the the GOPe.
Our Tea Party guys have not been doing well so far. From Texas to North Carolina....not good. We will have a Senate like we did during Bush time when we had the majority but it hardly mattered.
I’m on your side voted for Brannon in the Primary and will now vote for Tillis in the general election.
Reporting right now Tillis “won” with 45.07% of the vote. The next two R’s got 27.70% and 17.47% of the vote. That totals 45.17% - more than Tillis got.
Once again conservatives divide their vote in the primary letting the GOP-e dude float to the top.
Then you have a stronger stomach than I. In 2012 I criticized those who refused to vote for Romney, but realized my own error afterwards. The stupid look on Karl Rove’s face that night told me I wasn’t going to participate in another fiasco by this same establishment who lose both house and senate under Bush, and who repeatedly and openly attack and demean true conservatives in congress.
Idiot.....I want to politically destroy Barack Hussein Obama and Kay Hagan!!! End of story!!! The guy stabbing himself in the back is you, and fools just like you!!!
That is one of the reasons our country is failing as it is under Obama/Hagan & the Democrat low life!!! And....don’t you ever question my conservative credentials....I voted for Rubio in Florida and led the campaign for Ted Cruz in Texas!!! Tillis is going to mop up the floor beating Kay Hagan!!! End of story....End of dialogue!!!
But who will save our country from the RINO’s?
In a sense, they are much more dangerous than the most liberal Leftist Democrats, because most Republicans will not know to oppose a RINO agenda.
Not me...a lessor of two evils is still evil. This concept of the lessor evil s one of the reasons the country is in the condition it finds itself. We need good, principled people...not RINOs.
Texas was nothing. Stockman’s scheme to pay down his debts. It didn’t worry me. In fact, the state government races there went very well for conservatives.
But this race was a disaster. Rove pumped those RINO bucks into Tillis’ accounts, and it has paid dividends. This means Rove’s fundraising will balloon from the Chamber of Commerce types and we will have another cadre of RINOs to vote for... and it would not surprise me if they go down in flames just like 2012.
FWIW, I have been known to pull the Libertarian (or other third party) lever on occasion.
Although I wish I could, I can’t personally control who is ultimately on the ballot. So, I am left to weigh the given options and pick the most conservative person on the slate.
I am content with my approach.
