Net result? The establish picks off another seat for THEIR agenda.

That was painfully true here in TX in our Senate primary. No established TEA direction.

The sad thing is, when they support Jeb and get zotted for pimping him on FR, they’ll go and complain on other forums.

There were only 300 votes separating Clay Aiken and Keith Crisco last I looked, something like 10,600 to 10,300.

Well, Tillis was endorsed by the vehemently pro-amnesty Chamber of Commerce, if that’s any indication.

Thanks! I really hope that the conservatives continue their good works in North Carolina and gain in the State Senate and get a better house of conservatives.

Megyn Kelly..... I’ve watched her show one time and that was enough for me.... the lady has a Liberal “bent” to her. She was rude to Rev. James Dobson because he did not mince words about the heinous crime of abortion at the National Prayer Breakfast. A Democrat female congressperson walked out on him. Megyn felt Dobson was out of line. Screw her!

separating Clay Aiken and Keith Crisco

I bet not a lot separates Aiken and Crisco, if you catch my drift.

Sorry, I mis-understood your comment. My objective is to defeat the likes of Obama, Reid & Pelosi from positions of power. I never said to vote for only candidates supported by the GOPe.

I do not care who supports a republican candidate. I just like winning. I admire coach Lombardi who said “Winning is not everything, it is the only thing”.

If the winning candidate is 100% conservative, it is great. If he/she is 90% conservative, well and good. If he/she votes 80% with conservative issues, no problem.

The way I look at it is democrats vote 100% against conservative agenda.

He was also endorsed by “illegal immigration is an act of love” Jeb!

Still, the fact that you have 10,600 people voting for HIM shows Democrats are just nuts..well I already knew that but still

“If the winning candidate is 100% conservative, it is great. If he/she is 90% conservative, well and good. If he/she votes 80% with conservative issues, no problem.”

So how low do you go? Would you support a candidate who votes 10% conservative?

By the way....just did a little number crunching. With 90% of the vote now in, Thom Tillis and the Republicans have posted 423,000 votes to Kay Hagan & the Democrats 360,000 votes. With these numbers....Kay Hagan is going to be defeated by Thom Tillis in the the upcoming general election in November, 2014 provided Tillis runs the race of his life and does let up on Kay Hagan for one second. If Tillis is smart he will reach out to willing & eager independents and minorities that are becoming sick of anti-America/Americans POTUS, Obama & his failed Obamabot Democrat low life dregs & thugs!!!

I don’t think you get my point. My conclusion is that every democrat is almost 100% against conservative agenda. Name me one or two democrat senators who vote 50%+ times with the conservative agenda.

If a RINO votes 75% with conservative agenda, I can live with that. That is why I do not like McCain. He does not cross that threshold.

We’ve been there before. The “Rudy McRomney” arguments of 2008 morphed into the Anyone But Mitt arguments of 2012. Fact of the matter is, until the GOP wises up and finally runs a conservative candidate so it can win back the White House, we’re still going to have internecine struggles here on FR. Some people think this is a Republican website. It is not.

No...my absolute minimum threshold is 66% or 2/3rds.
I also do not like McCain the maverick, because he is totally undependable.

I guess you don’t like people endorsed by Mike Lee and Mark Levin.

Some people can think for themselves. I loathe John McCain even though he was endorsed by Sarah Palin. I despise Mitch McConnell even though Rand Paul has endorsed him.

There are tons of militant absolutists here. They completely unravel if someone who is not pure wins a primary. I would rather get 70%-80% of something than nothing.

That was not a full quote.

Before the primary Hagan sent out mailers which targeted GOP voters and said he called Obamacare a great idea.

She took what he said out of context. He was doing a radio interview and talking about how to repeal Obamacare. He was very critical of the health care law.

Here is the full interview:

It’s results like this and nights like tonight that make me laugh at people who think the Tea Party can take over the Republican Party. It’s just not gonna happen, friends.

If we want change, we’ll have to make it ourselves. Third party.
