Two teenage boys were killed after attempting to burglarize a home along Arcade Boulevard.
Sacramento Police responded to a burglary just after midnight on Sunday morning. When they arrived, they found two suspects had been shot and killed by the occupants.
Neighbors said the owner is an elderly woman, who has been a victim of several burglaries since her husband passed away.
This Easter, she was robbed, and so she had replaced her deadbolt locks with double locking deadbolts and they still got in after that, friend and neighbor, Celeste Gawehn said.
Gawehn said her the woman asked a family member to stay with her, in case she was burglarized again. We are told, her family member fired several rounds in self defense, and killed the intruders 17-year-old Steven Crider and 14-year-old Michael Sambrano.

Somebody breaks into your home while you are there, you can shoot them dead. Few questions are ever asked, they don't even confiscate the weapon.
Folks have an interview a few days later with the DA, then it's done.
Within the last few years another man noticed his new wheels were being stolen of his truck. He took his rifle outside with him for protection.
"They came at me in the night with tire irons"...shot two dead in the middle of the street.
He was never taken into custody.
Almost like Texas:)
Did I miss the part where they were trying to turn their lives around?
Just because the illegal aliens can get away with breaking and entering, it doesn’t mean everybody can. If you want to break in and steal in this country, you better be an illegal alien.
Don’t forget, they were teenagers. Is that codeword now?
But at the same time, a life has been lost. A life has been taken. Im sure he and a friend, Michael Sambrano, were doing what they thought they needed to do to survive.
He is a good person, Davison cried. Was a good person. He was just misunderstood. AHA! Another aspiring Rap screamer! He was misunderstood but got terminated for misunderstanding civilization. Such. A. F888king. Shame. Why weren’t there more with him?
Good shooting!
Their lives were turned around, all right.
What does (they broke in to survive) mean?...Needed more Skittles?
Dont forget, they were teenagers. Is that codeword now?....Dog whistle. If you are black anything below 23 is a teenager or “youth” when you are shot to death. If you are 16 or above and defend yourself, it is “Man kills unarmed youth.” Get with the scenario.
He is a good person, Davison cried. Was a good person. He was just misunderstood.
Yes, the poor boy had only one mother and father. He misunderstood that break-in and entering in the middle of the night can get you killed.
This type of defense “he was a good person” reminds me of how the grandfather of Nick Brady [killed by Byron Smith near Little falls, MN], said in response to the guilty verdict for Smith, “Nick was a good kid who just made a bad mistake. Everyone makes bad mistakes sometime in their lifetime. Heck, I made a bad mistake when I was young too.”
Now, I can excuse a grandfather having a hard time accepting the death of his grandson, but to call a series of repeated burglaries and stealing money, prescription drugs, and guns from people’s homes a ‘bad mistake’, is the understatement of the year.
This sort of minimalist way of excusing repeated bad/criminal behavior reminds me of those folks who think everyone goes to heaven when they die.
It said that the grandmother replaced the front door deadbolts with (I assume) double cylinder deadbolts which require a key on both sides of the door.
Just how did these misunderstood little hellions defeat those deadbolts & get in? Too bad for them they succeeded.
What was Grandma packing? It did the job.
Yep. They robbed the LAST house.
No trial. No make believe punishment. None of my dollars feeding him while he does his rite-of-passage prison sentence. He will be a parasite to society no more. Society is better off that this person is removed.
Im sure he and a friend, Michael Sambrano, were doing what they thought they needed to do to survive.

What running for their lives trying to beat the bullets ???
You did indeed sir. You also missed the part, where they were aspiring rappers too.
Made me laugh!
Justice was done. End of discussion.
