My heart is aching with all of the tragedies, all over the world, manmade and natural.
There are women and children and elderly men among the 2000 dead.
These people are absolute animals and barbarians who live in the 13th century and believe in a child raping god.
I cannot find any biblical support for praying for souls. The Bible teaches that If you die without Christ, you are locked into your decision.
Vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord.
He also told us to love those who hate us, and to forgive them. That's the hard part.
I recall a movie, cowboys and Indians type, in which a soldier said something like "nits grow into lice" when asked why he would slaughter Indian children.
I can rejoice at the death of Taliban fanatics, but
I also remember that there were families that helped
the Navy seal survive, I do not rejoice in their suffering.
We all pale to nothing against the force of nature.
