He is regularly briefed on scientific reports on the issue, including a national climate assessment that he will help showcase Tuesday.

He is using his executive authority to cut greenhouse gas emissions from power plants and other sources, and is moving ahead with stricter fuel-efficiency standards for the heaviest trucks.

“He’s spending money, in my view, in the wrong place,” Duncan said in an interview. “He needs to be focused on the economy, and the balance has gotten out of hand.”

More unicorn dust and purple haze for the believers of the Obama and more money wasted and debt for the believers of freedom from government.

Tackle climate change before it’s too late: UN chief

http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/Home/Environment/Global-Warming/Tackle-climate-change-before-its-too-late-UN-chief/articleshow/34671405.cms

“”Climate change is the defining issue of our time. If we do not take urgent action, all our plans for increased global prosperity and security will be undone,” said the UN chief in opening remarks to the Abu Dhabi Ascent Sunday, which he is co-hosting with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) government to prepare for and build commitment ahead of the UN Climate Summit set for Sep 23 in New York.

Ban went on to set out the nine key areas he has identified with the greatest potential for fast, meaningful results. These include energy, cities and transport, finance, resilience, agriculture and short-lived climate pollutants. “

Let’s kill world economy and reduce civilization to the stone ages...

“If we do not take urgent action, all our plans for increased global prosperity and security will be undone,” So that is what it’s all about!

Like I have said many times if they are so green conscious why not let “Man Made Global Warming” level things out - let it take out a few billion people and the the human race can “go back to the garden” that all these greenies seem to want. Once most of us are gone the planet will balance out any damage we are supposed to have done. What these lot really fear is not being in control of the change so that they can be the ones chucking the sacrifices into the GW volcanoes.

He seems to have quite a need to find new things to talk about. And, of course, the media is eager to play along.

No need for the sheeple to hear about next year’s rates before mid November! Funny thing about that!

The only problem with letting it (global warming and sea level rise) is that for example half the population of Bangladesh will be flooded and will invade India, as just one example of an explosive warfare situation. Pakistan quite likely would exploit the situation by invading northern India, and both India and Pakistan have more than 50 nukes each. Should they start throwing them around, I hope you all have well stocked fall out shelters, and are past your child bearing age. Incidentally, almost half of Florida could be under water. A friend of mine sold their property in south Florida and bought something near Orlando that’s 30 feet above sea level based on that concern.

And probably lots more than that too - I don’t believe the “Man Made” side of it. I would do all right for a few months but then die - it’s alright though God’s still into building Mansions!

“Let’s kill world economy and reduce civilization to the stone ages...”

That’s exactly the Plan. = Agenda21.

http://blogs.worldwatch.org/sustainableprosperity/resources/clubfordegrowth/

Here is the Plan in their leaders own words:

“Isn’t the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn’t it our responsiblity to bring that about?”
- Maurice Strong, founder of the UN Environment Programme
Opening speech, Rio Earth Summit. 1992 (Where Agenda21/Sustainable Development was introduced)

There you have it from Maurice Strong, founder of UNEP. Architect of the Kyoto Protocol.

OK!! Everybody pay attention!

Lesson for today:

1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.

2. The sun is a ball of fire that controls the climates of all its planets.

3. The earth is one of the sun’s planets.

4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.

5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.

Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?

Cyclical global climate change is an inexorable juggernaut that has been and will be without even noticing man's actions. The next ice age, which will come, will be an end-of-life event.

Have always thought and continue to think ... God is in control. Women and men like to think of themselves as being significant but woman or man does not control beyond their own circle of influence whereas God has ultimate control. When viewing the vast expanse of time and space, neither woman nor man controls anything except their own little circle of themselves thereby limited control. Limited control does not extend to God. Neither women nor men will accept control of themselves unless their submission is to true freedom offered by God but regrettably women and men allow themselves, more often than not the burden of chains offered by demons. The discovery of climate change is a creation of a man’s demon. That demon is sent to rob, cheat and convince one of something untrue. Submitting to the climate change demon is to not submit to God. Took me a while (decades) to come to this conclusion and if am wrong God will decide my fate. When there is a choice of trusting man or God, the choice for myself is simple. Without God there is no climate that is livable. With a demon, all climates are unlivable. Will trust God to provide for as long as God see fit a suitable climate for me and mine, for despite what is said by a man’s demon the demon cannot change the climate and neither can I. Trusting man does not compute. Trusting man will never compute for there will always be the error ... error ... error. Will trust God for my climate.
