I heard Joel McHale’s act was terrible and disjointed. I guess anyone can become nervous at such events. Joel is used to performing skits in front of a camera crew or in smaller settings. He is one of the very few comics under 40 that I know of who I can tolerate for any length of time. Most the White House comics are very mean, nasty people. A few years back, a black female ‘comic’ said she hopes Rush Limbaugh dies from cancer. Obama almost fell off his cushioned chair laughing at the prospect.
What, you expect the joke writers to have any charisma?
