David Gregory’s tenure at “Meet the Press” has suffered another blow after the show’s long-standing producer, Chris Donovan, quit after 12 years and defected to work for ABC rival George Stephanopoulos at “This Week.”
Donovan, who started at ABC last week, was fed up with embattled Gregory and the direction of “Meet the Press,” sources tell Page Six, which has sunk to third place in the ratings, behind CBS’ “Face the Nation” and ABC’s “This Week.”
One source said, “There is a tense atmosphere at ‘Meet the Press.’ Gregory is dismissive of the staff, and is often hard to reach or approach.
“He is famously the only host on Sunday morning TV who won’t pick up the phone to seal the deal to get a big guest. There’s nobody else on TV, and certainly on Sunday mornings, who thinks they are too important to do that. It is tough on the producers.”

With a whole internet out there from which to bring attention to one’s position, the only people dumber that Gregory and his ilk are the people stupid enough to go on their shows to be attacked.

“Meet the Press”, “Crisis”, and “David Gregory” allin oone headline! What’s not to like!
They play their predetermined role in the drama. their job is to act as a relief valve. It’s incrementalism. They claim to be on our side, then go out and play sacrificial lamb. The libs get their red meat and we get frustrated, losing hope.
Every Sunday another right winger says ‘to hell with it’ and one step at a time, liberalism gains ground. Now multiply that scenario by every show like this for several decades.
The genpub still thinks there is two parties and the cork stays in the bottle. But week by week, the pressure inside it lessens as hope goes away.

As if MSNBC and their NBC brother Gregory have any integrity or validity, or even journalistic standards.
“Reporters” on the Left are a propaganda arm of the Marxist Democrat Party, glaring saboteurs of the Constitution, individual freedom, or religious liberty, certainly they are open political operatives.
We have no longer a watch dog media zealosly representing the Constitution, or any of the pillars of our foundation.
