I know that we are all feeling very cynical about all this, but from what I have seen and heard from Gowdy, I actually think (hope?) that justice will someday out...

Here he is a year ago - He’ll cut to the bone. I’m just surprised that the lily-livered John Boehner didn’t try to stop Gowdy from being in charge - I think we’re finally going to hear a REAL investigation...unlike he Issa-run side shows - “full of sound and fury, signifying nothing”
Now it’s OUR turn to step up to the plate and let Gowdy know we’re behind him - not leave him out there all alone for the attacks that are sure to come. Let’s not just be couch potato critics. He’ll stand a better chance if the media/pols see that America wants ANSWERS and is behind Gowdy.

Not sure if true or not, but it would be some coincidence that both Obama and Hillary lawyered up days ago, long before this was announced. Maybe someone can find the thread. Did they get a phonecall from Boehner?

It is appalling that President Obama never was in the Situation Room the night of September 11, 2012, as our ambassador to Libya and three other men were being attacked, captured, and eventually killed after being dragged through the streets of Benghazi and tortured in hideous fashion.
An article in the Prague newspaper, Prager Zeitungon hit the bulls-eye:

If Trey Gowdy Chairs the Select Committee to investigate Benghazi, this scandal will prove to be much worse than Watergate.
