The idea that the Obama administration willfully orchestrated a disinformation campaign with regard to the attacks in Benghazi has now been confirmed.
An email written by then-White House Deputy Strategic Communications Adviser Ben Rhodes and obtained by Judicial Watch contained four bullet-point “Goals” outlined as part of the strategy to contain the political damage engendered by the murder of four Americans on September 11, 2012 at the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya. One bullet-point in particular revealed the Obama administration’s deliberate crafting of a deceitful narrative following the incident. According to the Judicial Watch emails, the objective of the Obama administration was to “underscore that these protests are rooted in an Internet video, and not a broader failure of policy.”
The email was part of a series of 41 new Benghazi-related documents obtained by Judicial Watch through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed June 21, 2013. That effort was aimed at gaining access to the documents used by then-UN Ambassador Susan Rice for her September 16 appearance on five different Sunday TV news programs. Rhodes’ email was sent on Friday, September 14, 2012 at 8:09 PM. It contained the following subject line: “RE: PREP CALL with Susan, Saturday at 4:00 pm ET.”
“Now we know the Obama White House’s chief concern about the Benghazi attack was making sure that President Obama looked good,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “And these documents undermine the Obama administration’s narrative that it thought the Benghazi attack had something to do with protests or an Internet video. Given the explosive material in these documents, it is no surprise that we had to go to federal court to pry them loose from the Obama State Department.”
Rhodes’ email was sent to several members of the administration’s inner circle. They included White House Press Secretary Jay Carney, Deputy Press Secretary Joshua Earnest, then-White House Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer, then-White House Deputy Communications Director Jennifer Palmieri, then-National Security Council Director of Communications Erin Pelton, Special Assistant to the Press Secretary Howli Ledbetter, and then-White House Senior Advisor and political strategist David Plouffe.

What Krauthammer is referring to is the reality that Rhodes’ email wasn’t included in the 100 pages of emails released by the administration last May, when Republicans refused to confirm John Brennan as CIA director until the “taking points” memos were released.

There is nothing in this memo that needed to be blocked. There is no sensitive information.
Jay Carney can can lie all he wants about alternate talking points. This is clear evidence of obstruction.
This calls into question the redacted information in the Fast and Furious case, and Eric Holder’s obstruction.
I still, to this day, have to listen to liberals talk about “Iran-Contra.” At least that event involved trying to help people.
Benghazi was solely about arming Al Qaeda.
I want an independent investigator - one whom I know will find that Boehner was complicit and “in the know” about ARMING Al Qaeda. As well as McCain, Graham, Mrs. Clinton, and Obama.

The first Democrat to speak at today’s hearing (Cummings) reads a prepared statement about how messy things were in LIBYA. He doesn’t specifically speak about Benghazi. Why? Because the Democrats have thrown in the towel on Benghazi and are falling back to their final defensive positions around Hillary and Obama. Hillary and Obama probably aided and abetted our nation’s enemies in Libya, and that is treason. Conviction of treason can get you a death sentence. Knowingly helping traitors is collusion and accessory to a crime and the Democrats, including the media, better come clean or they could wind up sitting in a federal pen.
That's a stretch. Obama had a chance to act in Lybia. The attack at our embassy took place over hours. The 9/11 attacks happened fairly quickly, and there was really very little the President could've ordered in advance. 9/11 was much more like Pearl Harbor (though I'm sure there were many conspiracy theorists for that as well.)

The video “Muhammad Movie Trailer”, was uploaded on July 2, 2012, with a running time of 13:51 in 1080p format. Both are similar in content. Most references to Islam have been overdubbed, added after the filming over the original spoken lines. Sarah Abdurrahman, a producer for WNYC’s On the Media program, watched the trailer and concluded that all of the religious references had indeed been overdubbed after filming.[16] The film’s 80 cast and crew members have disavowed the film: “The entire cast and crew are extremely upset and feel taken advantage of by the producer. 2014 court ruling on removal
On February 26, 2014, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit ordered YouTube to remove the video from its website by a 2-1 majority. The ruling was in response to a complaint by actress Cindy Lee Garcia, who had objected to the use of her performance, which had been partially dubbed for its inclusion in Innocence of Muslims. Garcia had believed during production that she was appearing in a film called Desert Warrior, which was described as a “historical Arabian Desert adventure film”, and was unaware that anti-Islamic material would be added at the post-production stage. Garcia had argued that she held a copyright interest in her performance.[80][81]
What about the crime of imprisoning the maker of the video for political purposes?
