My Dad went to the VA clinic in Kalispell, MT for a blood test because he thought his leukemia had returned. He couldn’t get the results. He called the Patient Advocate and the VA Inspector General. He died of leukemia several months later. There are some good people in the VA, but most of the executives need to be hung.
My condolences. That’s heart breaking.

Anyone who has had disabling pain for lengthy periods of time can relate to what this poor woman went through. I can only hope that Karma will reward those who ignored her.

Thanks. I believe that there is an agreed upon rationing in the VA concerning medical care and disability payments. Make believe pig farmers and men who dress like babies automatically receive support from the government. My Dad led patrols in front of the lines in Korea under fire and was ignored.

‘WE’, as a whole, have learned nothing from the McNamara days when the ‘powers that be’ thought a ‘numbers juggler’ was thoroughly capable of running our Defense Department - He ran it all right -basically right into the ground then Carter came along and continued. RR rebuilt us to a good strength then Bush, W Bush and another bunch of NWO types are rendering us ‘helpless’, while this malmisadministration is putting the icing on the cake by purging ‘non believers’ and willingly filling the ranks with ‘undesirables’, while gutting the ROE for those in “Harms Way”.
I never could understand people going to and parents allowing ‘kids’ to flee to Canada during VN but I guarantee if any of my Grandkids wanted to go in I will definitely discourage them and if a draft were reinstated, I would personally drive them to the border...AND MAY JUST GO WITH THEM.
VA hospitals are not the place to go for emergency care. These are gubmint “care facilities” that provide substandard care, treatments, and pain management and all patient care decisions require a review board prior to admittance.
I watched my dad suffer at the hands of this system from 1968 through 1990 because of their botched decisions. When I look back it reminds me of books or movies where they portray Soviet era doctors as drunks who constantly make mistakes based on a 3 minute exam so they can go back doing what they were doing before being rudely summoned to see a patient in need of care!
VA care is government care regardless the worthiness of those who receive it.
When government care is coerced on the nation, it’s communism.
