Oprah considering Clippers bid
ESPN ^ | 4/30/2014

Oprah Winfrey, David Geffen and Larry Ellison will join together in a bid to buy the Los Angeles Clippers if the NBA's board of governors votes to force Donald Sterling to sell the team, Geffen told ESPN's Jeremy Schaap on Wednesday.

Geffen said he and Ellison would run the team, while Winfrey would be an investor.

"Oprah is not interested in running the team," Geffen told Schaap. "She thinks it would be a great thing for an important black American to own [another] franchise.

"The team deserves a better group of owners who want to win. Larry would sooner die than fail. I would sooner die than fail. Larry's a sportsman. We've talked about this for a long time. Between the three of us, we have a good shot."

WOW I am shocked, shocked I tell ya/sarc
One racist buying a team from another racist..perhaps those considering Oprah buy the Clippers should hear the little rant she spewed against her step mother “No Negros in the house, no Negros in the house.” But hey its Oprah, you can be a black racist and get away with it

So “black” is becoming the politically correct requirement for ownership ... bet that’ll make all the white boys happy.

She [Oprah] thinks it would be a great thing for an important black American to own [another] franchise.

**********************************************

It’s called ‘hubris’, among other things.

I’d tell these azzholes to go pound sand.I hope he sues the crap out of the NBA for doing all this on a conversation made in the privacy of your own home!He should fire all the Amish on his team and only play fighting whities. People would still come to the games just tp see the slaughter.

Completing the Conspiracy Theory of yesterday’s caller on Rush’s show, find the link between 0prah and the takedown of the former owner.

Geffen and Oprah?

There you have the Politically Correct Trifecta!

A woman, an African American and a Homosexual.

I bet Corporate America does not boycott the NBA due to a gay team owner, but American Pro Family Christians should boycott the NBA if they allow these people to buy the Clippers.

Larry would sooner die than fail.

He's that close to failure. Oprah sees ray of hope for her wish..

Oprah Winfrey didn't just say, "Don't bring 'em to my show," she said:

"There are still generations of older people who were born and breed and marinated in that prejudice and racism and they just have to die."
And she was not referring to the victims of racism.

a certain degree of hubris is a prerequisite for an owner of a professional sports franchise

“So “black” is becoming the politically correct requirement for ownership ... bet that’ll make all the white boys happy.”

This is a much bigger scheme than simply black ownership, but rather a cabal of both black and homosexuals.

My mistake. I thought the reference was to Mr. Sterling. But the Winfrey quote is accurate.

Between the three of them they could just about buy the whole NBA.

LOL!!!

Based on my viewing of "The History of the Eagles", I could see Don Henley & Glenn Frey putting their own bid together, just to screw with Geffen.

the are 122 Big Four professional franchises, one of which to my knowledge is majority-owned by an african american (charlotte bobcats), and none of which is owned by a homosexual, or 0.008%. if there’s a black-homosexual cabal pushing such owners, they’re rather incompetent

“Look under your seat — everybody gets an NBA franchise!”

I’m sure this will go over well with the players. Not.

If this is the case, then I'm more inclined then ever to say that Obama is deeply involved in this....that the entire thing is a conspiracy.

Might also explain Michelle's extra time with Oprah in Hawaii....besides the fat sucking and botox sessions.

An partnership between Oprah and Geffen would be just that, a cabal of a powerful black woman and a homosexual who would own an NBA team.

Look at the NBA and how far it and America has fallen.

Just six months ago, there were no homosexuals in the NBA, but now there is Jason Collins and soon there will likely be a gay NBA Team Owner!
