Just about anything the Ukraine does to put a stop to this sort of thing, gives Russia the ammo it needs to claim a right to go in to protect the Russians stuck in Eastern Ukraine.

All this concern for Russians in Eastern Ukraine.

What about the Ukrainians who live in Eastern Ukraine? Don’t they deserve to remain with their nation?

What about the Ukranians in Eastern Ukraine? Don't they deserve to remain with their nation?

Then they should keep their calm during the protests and demand a monitored vote (Crimea got one) as soon as possible. Enough of those maps have been posted so we all get it that a majority of people in these areas are Ukranian, but also a majority want to be able to speak Russian and to keep ties with Russia.

The Kiev gov is doing everything wrong, it seems. Example....unarmed people manning a checkpoint are not terrorists, and five of them being shot Easter morning was an outrage. They should be moving the vote forward as much as possible before they alienate even more people.
