Mikey,
Knicks great? Lordy, GIMME A BREAK! Since when is Larry Johnson a “Knicks great”?
When I think of “Knicks great” I think of Willis Reed or Bill Bradley or Walt Frazier or Patrick Ewing or Bernard King or even BILLY DONOVAN...etc! But CERTAINLY NOT Larry Johnson...
The headline should have read: “Former Knick under-achiever says”

Larry Johnson is not a ‘great’.

We used to have separate leagues. That was called racist. Now they want separate leagues again? This is so tiresome.

Given time with all the race cards being played "those people" will segregate themselves.
I'll stop caring about sports if this gets any play, right there with Female Basketball.

Blacks constitute about 14% of the population nationally. For them to form their own league (blacks only) there are not enough black consumers to support the high ticket prices and salaries many of the NBA players earn.
It would be a financial loser.
