I’m sure the Ukrainians murdered in the millions by the Russians through deliberate starvation really could care less about which of these great genocidal holocausts was the first or the largest.
It matters because the world did nothing, so Stalin knew the world would do nothing again...
One of my rifle team teammates is of Armenian descent. He’s got a few pictures of his grandfather, with Mauser and ammunition bandoliers, large fighting knife, and huge mustache (a LETHAL mustache) standing over a pile of Turk corpses. There are other equally armed men with him.
The muslim Turks did indeed try to genocide the Armenian Christians. But not it wasn’t free, nor cheap, for some of them... as my buddy’s pictures attest.
Being of partial Ukrainian descent myself, this fosters a special anger in me.
Just another reason to hate socialism and those who preach it.
