For your zombie watching needs, here is a nice short film about a man trying to save his daughter during the zombie apocolypse.
I am losing my mind, in fact, becoming ENRAGED, over the lack of new zombie movies.
No joke, and it seems like we get a new vampire movie every other weekend.
Ping
Eat somebody. You’ll get over it.
I think “The Dead” is an interesting departure from the usual zombie theme.
African zombies apparently take very short shuffling steps.

Wow, that was a very good, touching webisode!
Truly worthy of Walking Dead.
Is there a ping list for these videos? I’ve seen some posted before.
Very nice! Thanks for posting.
Sad. 30% more likelihood of suicide.
Pretty good rendering of an H&K PSG-1, in my opinion. In fact, the series isn't too bad if you need a zombie "fix". The standard anime warning (gratuitous cartoon boobage) applies, so, not for the kids. I believe both English-dubbed and subtitled versions exist; it's on YouTube and a half-dozen other video streaming sites.
Thanks. Hadn’t seen that one.
‘The Walken Dead’ short...

I don’t get it. None of the zombie craze stuff makes any sense to me unless it is an outlet for modern floating anxiety.
Honestly, go plant, build or do something. You’ll feel better.
Here’s some zombie fiction for your enjoyment.

Post Modern Drudgery is more living in a zombie / Dem world, but the others are pure zombie genre.
“The Returned” is a recent zombie movie; it just became available on Amazon instant video, too.

Its anyone’s guess. My feeling is that it represents a primal perception that something has gone terribly wrong with society.
E. Michael Jones wrote a book about the phenomenon of slasher movies, 10 or 20 years ago. He noticed that the killers’ typical victims were teens engaged in premarital sex. He theorized that the violence depicted on screen represented the reestablishment of a supressed need for justice.
I think something similar is going on here.
I think you may be right. If you’ll recall, most of the classic Universal horror films were produced in the 1930’s and on into the war years. If any era had real reasons to be afraid, that was it. The weird thing about all this crap is that the threats come from everywhere and there is no solution but constant killing, vigilance and despair. Compare that to Frankenstein, Wolfman or Dracula who were single monster threats and could be reliably put down with a happy ending- at least until the studio could jinn up a reason to shoot a sequel.
