I have an excellent reputation here, earned over many years and tens of thousands of threads and posts. Again, I regret that I did not thank you for your generous gift of twenty dollars way back when, since you say I didn’t thank you (I have no idea either way) but now it’s probably time to drop the subject and go on about our business, right? You’ve made your feeling about me crystal clear. We all get it. Let’s do a “TWO MINUTES OF HATE” against that villain 2DV and then go back to the festivities, shall we?
No he wasn't.
Ping to post 82.
No he wasn't.
Reagan, Yes, pro life, however he was actually responsible for much of what has become of the entire abortion industry.
No he wasn’t.
Actually, he was, and he held deep regrets for the rest of his life.
Reagan regretted signing a bill on abortion in 1967 that had strict limits, for instance a medical board requirement.
Now you are trying to recreate him as “”responsible for much of what has become of the entire abortion industry.””.
Besides abortion having been legal in a number of states before Roe V Wade, Roe is what led to the creation of most of the “entire abortion industry”.
You attempt to smear Reagan on abortion, is the worst that I have ever heard.
Listen, I have no desire to smear Reagan.
I may need to dig into the archives to find where both Reagan and other pro-life groups found that his signature on this California Law, set the stage for a massive, nationwide expansion of the abortion industry.
And Reagan was Pro-life, but he admitted on a number of occasions that he F88ked up.
You seem to do a number of liberal things that you don't mean to do.
Here are some doctors going on trial before the medical boards in 1967 for ignoring the law and the restrictions written into it.
Perhaps it will help you overcome this impulse you have, to keep smearing Reagan.
Don’t you understand yet, that this is my point ?
There is NO Perfect Candidate.
Everybody is flawed.
Would you vote for Reagan if you knew he would sign that bill ?
I wouldn’t.
And Rand Paul is playing the middle for their votes. Pure and simple.
You need to see the bigger picture.
LOL, you think we didn’t know about Reagan’s 2 terms as California Governor when we voted for him?
This is almost 50 years later, 41 years after Roe V Wade, we have had decades of a pro-life movement, terminology which didn’t even exist in the 1960s, and Rand Paul is running left on abortion today, now.
You guys are sounding just like the Mitt Romney liberals did.
Rand Paul’s man Mitt Romney played the middle, and won hugely with the Independents, to bad he lost the election, he and his also used to attack Reagan.
I understand where you are coming from.
I agree with ALL your positions.
I disagree on what it takes to get elected given todays culture.
Politics today is Sales 301.
Sales 101 is the “value” proposition.
Sales 201 is to know and craft your message to your audience.
Sales 301 is to say “I know that you know” that there are snake oil salesman, and I am here to protect you from them.
Democrats are working on sales 301, while Conservatives are still on the “Value Proposition”.
On another thread you wanted republicans to lie, to conceal conservative politics.
You sure do an excellent job of hiding your conservatism.
Why should we be promoting someone as liberal as Rand Paul as a candidate? We don’t agree with his politics, we oppose him.
Once again, outliers are being promoted as relevant by the blue bloods and country clubbers running the RNC.
Hey, what is your real problem?
I sent some loot to 2D Vet as well.
I don’t recall how much and I think it was a couple times.
He thanked me.
Heck, I’ve helped more than a few Freepers and I didn’t do it to lay down a marker.
Is there something 2D Vet owes you?
Something isn’t right about your gripe here.
The thread was along well and you even posted nicely to 2D Vet. Then you to all Bizorrow World on him.
Wtf for?
You miss your $20 bucks so badly?
Let me know and I’ll repatriate your long lost money back, so you van fill your wallet and act like a bigshot and get a cup of coffee at Starbucks.
And yeah, I know the ungrateful chump. /s
Why would you dump all over a perfectly good thread?
As far as I know Mestamachine is pretty decent as well.
What’s yer gripe with Mesta???
btw, where IS Mesta?
Mesta is still an active Freeper

Wow Dr. Ben Carson in fourth place and he’s not even running!! He’s my best pick for now.
Bullcrap Paul! Imagine 40 million all on welfare and sending money back to ol' Mexico. This is the back breaker for our side. they all vote dem as well. Paul should know that unless he's been bought off.
I’d be thrilled to vote for any of the top three: Paul, Cruz, or Walker. No Bushes or Chrispie Crempuff.
