The House could come up with a bill to overhaul the countrys immigration system by August, according to the Houses No. 4 Republican.
I believe there is a path that we get a bill on the floor by August, Rep. Cathy McMorris-Rodgers (R-Wash.) the Republican conference chairwoman, told The Spokesman-Review last week.
An August deadline would resolve the troubled issue months before Novembers midterm elections, where the GOP is looking to grow its advantage in the House and pick up enough seats to take over the Senate. Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) has pushed for a bill and even mocked members of his party who have been opposed to the effort, yet so far the push has been unsuccessful.
In recent weeks, Boehner reportedly told financial backers that he was hell-bent on passing reform this year.
More recently, he told constituents in Ohio that the appetite amongst my colleagues for doing this is not real good.
Heres the attitude, Ohhh, dont make me do this. Ohhh, this is too hard, he added.

dumb move boner. Dumb move naive, RINO Republicans.
Madness. Then again, if the illegals can rant and rave an get what they want, maybe we Americans can do so, as well.
Let’s start making a scene, agitating, and raising a stink, and maybe the government will voluntarily reduce itself in size and leave us the hell alone.
Nah, I didn’t think so.
Remember the rumor that it would be after the primaries?
Way to suppress the base just when you need them most.
A Republican from Washington aka a conservative Democrat.

Your latter term is an oxymoron... There’s no such thing in this day and age as a “conservative Democrat”!
Government by the consent of the governed? Not here. More like government by the consent of the Chamber of Commerce and the Progressive movement.
Seal the border and start enforcing existing laws. That’s the reform the majority of Americans actually want.
How can House Republicans strike a deal on immigration when Obama takes passed laws and rewrites them by deciding what part of laws to follow/enforce and what parts to ignore/delay?
Obama is already not enforcing present immigration laws on deportations and border controls. He has delayed or skipped major parts of ObamaCare to the point it is a not what was passed just so the impacts are delayed past coming elections. He is now ready to let felons out of jail on drug charges and mandatory sentences to please minorities.
Any new immigration law in Obamas hands will be a joke and manipulated to turn elections to the favor of Democrats and favored big businesses which kick money to Democrats.
The Stupid Party strikes again.
The Republican leadership is pro-Obamacare, pro-immigration, pro-big government, and anti Tea Party.
With political “friends” like that who needs enemies?
Defund the GOP. Don’t give them a single dime.
I’m becoming more and more convinced that the GOP has no desire to win the Senate this November and become a majority in both chambers of Congress. I believe they view the responsibility of being held accountable to its voters and standing up for Constitutional conservative principles and limited government as simply too much for them to bear. By being a permanent minority, they think they have a perfect excuse to not do anything, cave to the whims of statist Democrats, and enjoy the cushy perks and benefits that come with being a part of the inside-the-beltway Washington establishment. Hey, they’re set for life... So to hell with the rest of the country.
To push a “path to citizenship” (a.k.a. AMNESTY) in an election year when the vast majority of Americans oppose such a move is absolute MADNESS and pure POLITICAL AND PARTY SUICIDE! I keep asking myself if the GOP leadership is really THIS stupid... and it’s becoming increasingly evident that the answer is YES!
This party has to go.
That is all.

BINGO! Donate directly to conservative Tea Party candidates but DO NOT donate to the Republican National Committee unless you want your money to support a bunch of RINOs and worthless bureaucracy.
Who put up the money for the amnesty bill?.
“Im becoming more and more convinced that the GOP has no desire to win the Senate this November and become a majority in both chambers of Congress.”
I see your point, but I think the GOP establishment would be happy to take the majority of both houses as long as they had nothing but Chamber-of-Commerce Corporate-owned RINO whores in place.
What the GOP is most afraid of is actual conservatives coming into power, since this would inevitably disrupt their gravy train. They would much rather have the Democrats maintain their majority so the money keeps rollin’ in for all concerned. (Other than the citizens of the USA, but who gives a rat’s ass about them?)
Tea Party stand forward.
Now.

Good points... I think you may be more spot on here.
They are not stupid. They’re just a bunch of corrupt whores who have been bought off by the scumbags at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and big business interests who want cheap labor.
The politicians are traitors and criminals who only care about padding their own wallets and couldn’t give a crap less about the country or what happens to America.
Yes, I’m talking about you, Cathy McMorris-Rodgers, Paul Ryan, John Boehner, Lindsay Graham, Juan McCain, Kelly Ayotte, Eric Cantor, Jeb Bush, and on and on.
