The racism controversy embroiling Don Sterling, the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers, has reached half way around the world to Malaysia, where President Obama is on a diplomatic mission to Asia Pacific nations. At a press conference with Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak Sunday, Obama was asked about racist comments Sterling allegedly made about African Americans. "When ignorant folks want to advertise their ignorance, you don't really have to do anything, you just let them talk. That's what happened here," the President said.

The guy is having a private argument with his girlfriend.
The recording may be illegal.
Clearly, he thinks she is having sex with some of the Black guys he mentions.
The girlfriend makes no attempt to dispute that.
TMZ got the recording from a woman who is being sued by Sterling for embezzlement, and who vowed to get to even with Sterling.
Should all his critics be held to the same standard?
It's now OK to tape and publicly release private conversations that Shaq and Jesse and Snoop and Sharpton have with their intimate partners?
Just a couple weeks ago, half the country was outraged because the NSA cross matched the phone numbers of American citizens with suspected terrorists.
But what has happened to Sterling is OK because he made comments that might be racist?

I completely agree, and you don’t know the half of it. As a person who works in media, I dare not expound further, except to correct you on one key point: It’s not necessarily the media doing the master’s bidding. Allow me to explain...
Today’s ‘major’ media is a culture of it’s own, with a few exceptions. For the most part, they really don’t take orders from the White House. It’s pretty much report by committee, taking their lead from the New York Times and in fact, whatever is trending on social media. Media hacks, government associates all in bed together. You see, without this media, the current White House occupant would have never seem the inside of the Oval Office, let alone last 6 months there.
They made him. They ARE him. He is the standard-bearer of their own myopic ideals. With that said, allow me to throw a few more untold stories in America these days...
* foreclosures still going gangbusters.
* increasing number of un-armed Americans being executed by police.

I was listening to sport talk shows last night FOX, NBC, ESPN: listening to the Talk Hosts you would have thought it was the Rev Wright talking about Sterling having abducted Obama’s daughters and had his way with them.
Sports Radio talk show have become less about SPORTS and more about promoting the quotas, e.g., not enough black coaches, quarterbacks, Why are there more blacks in baseball? etc,etc.
