INDIANAPOLIS Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin fired up a crowd of thousands inside Lucas Oil Stadium Saturday night to kick off the National Rifle Associations Stand and Fight Rally, saying Americans constitutional rights as envisioned by the founding fathers are under attack and policies like gun-free zones constitute stupid on steroids.
They knew that if the Second Amendment goes, the rest of the constitution is not far behind, she said of the countrys founders.
In her approximately 12-minute address, Mrs. Palin also derided what she argued is akin to a blame the messenger attitude on gun violence many Americans take today.
Gun stores are an accomplice to crime, she said, and that fork made me fat.
Mrs. Palin, plucked from relative political obscurity to be the 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee, still enjoys significant support among elements of the partys base, and was at times received like a rock star inside the complex adjacent to the Indiana Convention Center, where much of the gun rights groups annual meeting has taken place.

Does he even realize we no longer read his stupid posts?
And they are stupid. This person doesn't read my posts. That's how they know they are, "Stupid!"
If you don't read my posts, you don't know if they make sense or not.
For the record, posts aren't stupid. The poster may be. That's for the people who read them to determine for themselves.
Stupid? Oh nevermind, it's just too easy...
Here's Palin's stated policy.
Here's part of her interview with O'Reilly. I'm not a big fan of O'Reilly, but in this interview she again reinforces her intent to register illegal aliens, and that the expectation is that the illegals who register will work. This is from 2010, two years after McCain went down to defeat, and the same year Palin endorsed him to remain the Senator from Arizona over Hayworth. It was also the same year she stood up before a tea party event and assured them McCain was a Tea Party member at heart. She hadn't been his running mate for two years. None the less, she's still hawking the Registration and Remaining in Place.
Just post a link to let us know when she changed her policy.
Many thanks!
One wonders about certain "private mails" that were sent...
Do they think he's right, that the O'Reilly insult of an interview is a "policy", or that in spite of her stellar performance against the entire premise of illegal immigration and the GOPE amnesty crap that she is pro-illegal?
I would expect better from people here.

Going backward, do you mean to say that the poster at #503 is unworthy of support? If so, we agree.
Are you referring to me? If so, you couldn’t be more wrong, but whether or not, I wouldn’t expect someone of your calibre to understand why.
If you know what he's saying, why do you support him?
I would have thought you were better than to do so.
Wonder if we'll get to see if DoughtyOne's post #36 stands in the end, along with all its glorious Palin-bashing & Palin-hate:
To: KC_LionSo now its your theory that people must use their judgement and never speak if the thought is abhored by a certain group of folks here?
Do you realize how many idiotic movements here have caused us to support people who were unfit to hold the office of the presidency?
Bush cost us dearly and some of us are tired of watching the lead up to general elections result in one group or another censuring anyone who disagrees with them.
Is this a Conservative forum or not? Do we agree with the first amendment or not?
Now its termed using responsibility to shut people up?
She is a failed half term governor. Im not happy about it, but it is true. And you know what, thats something shes going to face somewhere along the line, either here or in the public arena. Why must we stick our heads in the sand on these matters?
Many of us tried to warn off on Bush. Instead we got the idiot and he cost Conservatism dearly. Please folks, can we discuss these matters fully this time?
Most likely not, because you mean well, so everyone else has to shut the hell up.

The quote "She is a failed half term governor" is straight off the DUmpster or DailyKos. I wonder if that's going to be common fare on Free Republic now...
She was a very good Governor from what I understand, so much that the Democrats used every trick in the book to bankrupt her and her family.
Innocence is likely the truth.
After the repeated lies, deceit, and LINKS that are all the same BS, you'd think he'd stop humiliating himself.
As onyx says: He's been pwned over and over again and can't see how dumb he looks.
I don’t necessarily agree completely with everyone that I befriend, however, I do expect a measure of morality, integrity, maturity and humour.

I have addressed one issue hundreds of times here. I was askd a question regarding my support of someone else's right to say something he believed. I responded with my thoughts on the subject a few times.
So a few comments vs hundreds, and yet here this is what you address. In some of the comments I have made here, I gave Palin some kudos for things during her governorship as well. You did not pick that post to repeat here. So you are ultimately dishonest in your attempt deflect from the issue at hand. And after two weeks of discussing the matter, I think it's safe to say you agree it's worth discussing, although you rarely do directly. Instead it's insult after insult, and misdirection continually.
Your defense of Register illegal aliens and allow them to Remain in Place has collapsed.
If folks want to know what my views are, they can used the links at the top of this post. They'll also get to see your comments in living color.
I don't hate Palin. I do not seek to trash her. I try to address things honestly. I'll give her kudos for saying good things, and point out those may be mute if she does something that is touched on in her interview.
Here it is again.

For a guy who doesn't read my responses, I find it interesting what an expert you believe yourself to be on their content. As onyx says: He's been pwned over and over again and can't see how dumb he looks.
Onyx can express her opinion here just like anyone else. I have no problem with that.

So do we, which is why I continue to post against the deception of D-1. It's wrong, it's a lie, it's calculated, and it's frankly flat out despicable.
That's a highly moral statement, with integrity and maturity.
I've had other posts filled with humor, as has kiryandil.
The point here is simple, the man has hijacked this thread and is being called out for lying and trying to deceive others. Why anyone would believe the crap he's selling here is beyond me.
We disagree. So be it.
I don't think you're going to get anywhere with this one, Lakeshark.
It's just a feeling that I have. LOL! :)
