Just when you think political correctness can’t get any more absurd, then an incident such as this comes along, and pushes political correctness to new absurd heights, or depths.
Isn’t a fiesta a party, a happy event, in certain cultures? Thus, isn’t it honoring such a culture, if we have a fiesta with various favorite ethnic foods?
Carried to its extreme, then we can’t have any ethnic restaurants, such as Mexican restaurants. They are offensive to Mexican Americans, according to the way this girl thinks.
Ditto Italian or any other ethnic themed places. If people like this girl get their way.
