A teen boy slashed a 16-year-old girl to death at their Connecticut high school Friday morning after he asked her to be his date for the junior prom and she turned him down.
The girl, Maren Sanchez, had planned to go to the prom Friday night with another boy, a friend of her alleged attacker.
Yay, so excited!!!!! she had written under a recent Sanchezs friends recounted the morning encounter and grisly attack.
He asked her to the prom right there, and she rejected him, Imani Langston, a junior who described herself as Sanchezs best friend, told The Post.
Another junior, Sam Garcia, 16, recalled: There was blood on her neck. It was awful.
Sanchez was stabbed multiple times with a kitchen knife, including in the face and chest, as she struggled with the spurned boy near a stairwell at Jonathan Law HS in Milford, officials said.
The popular girl, who had wanted to go into music and acting and was on multiple sports teams, fought back, even biting the boy as he strangled and cut her, sources said.

Why bring a kitchen knife when asking someone out?
I’m not minimizing the situation at all, ilovesarah. But this type of story has gone on for thousands of years in rare cases. Boy likes girl, girl sees him as a friend, girl likes another boy.. tragedy. Love triangles can be unusually nasty. I think what the article isn’t saying is the boy probably had mental issues before this incident. That being said... I feel so sorry for this poor girl. May she rest in peace and may justice for her be done.
Who are “they”?
A completely isolated case.
Go volunteer in any public school, big, small, urban, rural, any public junior high or high school will do. God made these kids what they are being taught goes against Nature.
How long do you think you can teach children that they descended from pond scum and monkey sperm before they start acting like pond scum and monkey sperm?
A story as old as time, and recounted in innumerable songs across the millennia.

The Left incites it and tells folks that they not only deserve to be angry when life becomes inconvenient - they demand that folks become angry. The advent of the "PC Society" was the beginning of an all-out assault on the development of mature coping skills.
I'm stirring the pot at work where one of my employees "hurt the feeling of and offended some young military students" and they want to crucify him for it. One of the other supervisors stated that the guy needs to be terminated for "inappropriate words and behavior. A few minutes later, a student walked into the office and I told him he needed to wait until invited because if we had test material out, there could be a potential compromise of the material and it would cause us all sorts of problems. The other supervisor then quipped that if that happened, we would have to shoot him. I pointed out that his words were even more inappropriate and unprofessional - it the student decided to write up a critique on him, he would be in the same boat as my employee. He got pi$$ed at me and said it was all in the delivery.
Everyone is being taught that their own personal perceptions outweigh reality and common sense.
That’s called moral relativism, and it’s destroying America - if not the world.
yeah where was the security guard while she was being thrown down the steps
I don’t understand how someone could do this. Where does so much anger come from?
No simple answer.
It is combinations of so many things in our society in the past 20 -30 years.as
God has been removed from our schools and replaced with “government”
Decades of unfettered abortion has taught that life is cheap and maybe not to important.
In our schools we have taken life lesson away from our children as they grow up. Scores are not kept in games because no one is a winner and no one is a loser.
No one fails and grades are inflated to insure that no one feels left out.
We have come to expect instant gratification. Win it in a Minute!
Maybe some sensory overload. I had 3 TV stations all of which went off the air by midnight. My granddaughter has 250 plus 24/7. I had a party line phone and had to wait at times to make a call. My granddaughter carries her smart phone with her day and night. There was a half dozen fast food restaurants in the community, now there are a dozen McDonalds alone... Our children are constantly bombarded by something. No time to shut down and recharge like I had in my childhood. Just a thought...........
I demand legislation outlawing school dances! It is the only way to stop another incident like this. If it only saves one child . . .
Seriously though, this is a sick tragedy. Prayers for all involved.

Face Book
You obviously do not understand Hispanic culture. My experience is that a higher percentage of Hispanics carry knives/daggers than do Sikhs, particularly those living in Milford CT which has became a lawless city despite the name of their high school.
Search “teens kill”. There are many, many cases.
The poster was somehow claiming this is new to society. This isn’t a massive growing trend due to our “sick society”. People have, and will always, kill each other.
Maybe the anger was always present, across generations, but with the advent of the web and social media, consequences are minimized? One can say anything to another person online, and there are almost always zero consequences, while if it is said to someones face, there may be punches thrown. Kids struggle to understand the difference between what they can do online, and that doing whatever they want in real life may carry severe repercussions. Add to that the lack of discipline at schools and at some homes, and we have sad situations like this.
Kids can’t handle rejection anymore because they try to shield them from it as much as possible.....”Everyone gets a trophy”. No one is allowed to get a fail grade, anymore, etc.
