All have swat teams?
I guess I just don't get it. Why the heavy security? Is someone going to stick up a Social Security office?
Is there a solution, to nimwitted cultures?
I would be your life on it that they all do.
We have so many foreigners who collect SSI these days that they figured they need cops with guns to convince people to follow the gimme rules, wait your turn!
Don’t the Army, Air Force & Coast Guard all have their own criminal investigative services?
Yes.
You might be right. When I went there at age 65, I was by far the oldest person waiting to see a 'representative' -- who was a miserable woman with a very bad attitude who offered no help at all.
It was a total waste of time to even go to that office.
Anecdotal, but I was shooting the breeze with the guys the other day, and one of them related the story of a local woman who started working for the SS administration right out of high school.
She retired after 48 years, and is apparently taking home $100,000 a year in retirement. Doesn't that just warm the cockles of your heart?
How come MY high skool counselor never told me to go into "publik surviss"?
