(Reuters) - Two Republican U.S. senators who voiced support for a Nevada cattleman in his showdown with federal agents over grazing rights on public land condemned the rebellious rancher's remarks about whether African-Americans would be "better off as slaves."

I'd like to THANK Mr. Bundy for showing us just who are friends are.
If Paul&Heller are going to run the first time someone squeaks 'racist', or NOT have the sense to KNOW how the MSM manipulates the *news* and take what it says at face value.....
They're faux conservatives and not really someone you could trust to have your back, IMO.
LOL! So did Alan West :
Back in the Old South, if you were a slave, everything was provided for," West told the audience. "The master gave you your housing, your food, your job. And the slave was totally dependent.
Now look at America today. It's the same story. Obama has taken the role of slavemaster. He's giving away food, shelter, and work to black people and creating a permanent underclass of 21st century slaves.

The eloquence of the orator really doesn't change the meat of the message, but comprehension has apparently become a lost art.
Your post made me wish FR had a LIKE button. :-)
Can’t disagree politely? Ok, last post to you...
He said what many here on FR have posted, for years...what makes him so different “bob”?
Why is his case so “special” in the sense that in order to keep any support for his efforts to keep his ranch, he has to stick with a certain category or topic of conversation?
You don’t want to support him? Fine, but you can sure quit with the ad hominems towards him and FReepers who disagree with you.
Then again...it’s pretty much what the leftists are doing to him, sounds like you found a “cause” you can get behind.
“I guess that means the issue of an overbearing violent lawless government no longer holds any appeal. Pack the tents were headed back home!”
The neo-con squishes are heading for the exits. They’re more concerned about what their purse-carrying fascist buddies will think about them. They own surrender-monkeys as pets. They sleep on no white sheets because they’re needed as flags to wave before the battle is started.
“I think he brought the black race into it because they were of course the ones who made up the majority race of those who were slaves correct?
Its all about Context. Ya know?”
I think he stepped in it.

My position is, and always was that, that his comments had nothing to do with his cause and were ill advised.
He had a lot of support from a lot of different people not just political junkies.
I still support his position that the BLM shouldn’t have sent a swat team.
IMHO the other comments were just him trying to extend his 15 minutes.
I agree with you. I do not believe he is racist either.
However one must be careful in the age of 24-7 cable TV
to be very smart in making public comments. They can
record you with a variety of devices and twist your words.
The person who will win next presidential election will be
the one who has made not a single gaffes to be exploited
by the MSM.
I understood all of that before you bothered to post it a half dozen times. What you don’t get is that is irrelevant to anyone with principles. Enjoy your boob tube life of hero worship.
Definitely. How about if anyone, black, white or otherwise, wants to talk about slavery they go be a slave in Saudi Arabia or somewhere for a year first.
With Allen West I have a little hope that he won’t join the dogpile on Bundy.
I’m afraid some people are too comfortable in their own little world to be willing to make a stand against the lawlessness going on. A violent outcome would actually be less likely if more would stand up now and say “Enough! This is not acceptable.” But fear keeps people frozen.
FEAR from WHAT people WE pay they should damned well be AFRAID
we WILL ALL STOP PAYING OUR TAXES!!! Except of course the ones on the dole guess THEY would be SOL!!! Why in the HELL should WE
ever be AFRAID of OUR employees!!!! WE ARE THE BOSS some BETTER start to see things the way they ARE!!!!!
“But fear keeps people frozen.”
That’s a fact. I’m in a position where I talk to DHS employees. I can tell you that these government employees are afraid of armed Americans. Fear is present on both sides. That’s not a good thing because one side or the other can make a mistake that will ignite a situation that is not good for America. I think that the Nazi, racist Holder will try to manipulate this stand-off situation to the advantage of the Marxists and racists in DC. It will be to his detriment and eternal damnation.
Cheers, buddy.
Neither do I, but what he said was the same as Bundy, albeit in a more elegant manner.
and the FReeper cheers were deafening
Rand Paul, Sean Hannity are goats!
