I actually just googled his 2008 campaign speeches on YouTube for a laugh, and the guy sounded like a cross between Adam Andrejewski and Steve Lonegan on the stump, giving cocky holier-than-thou soundbites about how the “Washington elites” FEAR him because he’s a “businessman” who “stands firm for our core conservative principles” and will “work hard to return the Republican Party to those principles”
