The family of a second-grade student at a Texas elementary school says their daughters teacher took her Bible away during a read to myself session.
The Liberty Institute, a nonprofit legal group specializing in religious liberty cases, says the family reached out for assistance after a teacher at Hamilton Elementary in Cypress allegedly told the girl not to bring the Bible back to school again.
The teacher reportedly said the Bible is inappropriate reading material.

This is why I keep telling everyone that we should only allow grownups to be teachers. ADULTS! These clowns should be nowhere near American children. There is NOTHING inappropriate about The Bible.

Not sure of the source but the teacher and school district really are trying to put a spin on all of this by saying that she could read anything during free time that she was able to if she was old enough to understand what she was reading and could pronounce the words.
School administrators are also spouting that the parents should have just talked with them to resolve the issue. Had they done so though, we all know that this story would never have seen the light of day.
Hats off to the parents for shining some light on this issue.

I do think you may be right. We do have pockets of muslims and their korans and head dressers in schools. AND, we do have education administrators who have cajones smaller than a sugar ants. Korans are allowed, and muslim women’s day wear, but since the communists of this country have found the little blurb in the Communist Manifesto, it’s all about separation of church and state and NOT about our First
Amendment to the Constitution of America. “Whereby it states
“Congress shall make NO LAW respecting an establishment of religion”,......So the members of the media and even members of our congress spounting the communist manifesto, that there will be a separation of church and state. We don’t have that. We allow all people with their faiths to practice it, without interference of our government. The
communists and muslims countries have only their “faiths”, no foreigner can practice their faiths.
