I have a special lawn mower that has some worn rings I crank up and use on EARTH DAY. It starts up and smokes like a 19th century factory until it warms up..

Well, of course not.

Earth Day is Humanism’s “Easter”, it’s a religious holiday.
It’s all about feeling righteous as a “good person” for “caring about the erf”.

Remember, we were to be in the deep freeze according to the first Earth Day speakers. They were talking back them about covering the polar caps with soot in order to melt the ice because, you know, soot is black and it would absorb the heat from sunlight. Only from the minds of leftists...

Climate change is a fact, just look at the geological record. It is happening in spite of and despite us. Adapt and overcome.

Most people at work didn’t even remember it was Earth Day - which was encouraging.

I told a co-worker it was also Lenin’s birthday, allegedly just a coincidence. His response: Who is Lenin?

He’s a bright guy...but young.

At first, leftists opposed Earth Day as a distraction from the “real” issues. Later they realized that it was an opportunity to trash capitalism, and to undermine the prevailing order.

On Earth Day 1992, in a Bookstore in Oxford, England, I heard two Marxists discuss how they would kill all environmentalists after the revolution. I threw some gasoline on the fire by pointing out that Hitler was an environmentalist, to which they agreed.

There, fixed it!

Spent earth day eating as much gassy food as I could stand and the rest of the time passing CO2 and methane all about the area.

Proudly expanding my carbon footprint since 1950. None of this Lysenko science for me.

I am fortunate to have lived long enough to have seen “critically-acclaimed Environmental Scientists” in “Peer Reviewed studies” predict “Global Cooling”, “Global Warming”, and lately, “Climate Change” ...

And after almost 50 years of “expert scientific analysis”, the latest IPCC Report mentions Sun/Solar ONE time in the report.

"For the true believer, no proof is needed, an no disproof possible."

Take Paul Ehrlich. The man has never been right about any of his predictions, ever. Yet, he is highly respected in the climate eco-freak wackjob community.

“By… [1975] some experts feel that food shortages will have escalated the present level of world hunger and starvation into famines of unbelievable proportions. Other experts, more optimistic, think the ultimate food-population collision will not occur until the decade of the 1980s.” Paul Ehrlich

“It is already too late to avoid mass starvation.” Denis Hayes, chief organizer for Earth Day “Demographers agree almost unanimously on the following grim timetable: by 1975 widespread famines will begin in India; these will spread by 1990 to include all of India, Pakistan, China and the Near East, Africa. By the year 2000, or conceivably sooner, South and Central America will exist under famine conditions… By the year 2000, thirty years from now, the entire world, with the exception of Western Europe, North America, and Australia, will be in famine.” Peter Gunter, professor, North Texas State University

“Scientists have solid experimental and theoretical evidence to support… the following predictions: In a decade, urban dwellers will have to wear gas masks to survive air pollution… by 1985 air pollution will have reduced the amount of sunlight reaching earth by one half.” Life magazine, January 1970

I'll bet all these liberal elite now back global warming... I'll also bet the New York Times and Washington Post 'miss' this story...
