It would be an absolute act of war on the American people in my opinion. To me, it would be the final insult.

When I saw the head line at first I thought it must be the Onion or some other satire site. Sadly, I was incorrect.

California wants to ban judges with past association with the boy scouts, and at the same time we have this!

Under current Senate rules, if she is nominated, she gets the job. Nothing the GOPe can do to stop it.

If 0bama goes for plural marriage; the second first lady would most likely be Bill Ayers.

I would think she would have a lot of Repubican backing so as to extend the “big tent”.

I was at the Chicago firm Sidley & Austin (where Michelle met Barack) in the Eighties. When Bernardine Dohrn resurfaced and turned out to be Ayers' wife, the firm went nuts trying to recruit Dohrn as an attorney. You see, Ayers' father had recently been CEO of Commonwealth Edison, a very juicy client prospect.
Sidley ignored this b**ch's terrorist background and tried to get her admitted to the Illinois Bar. No go: she couldn't pass the character and fitness requirements. Sidley then moved her to the New York office and tried to get her admitted to the New York bar. Same result. So, she is not a member of the bar, which alone reduces her prospects of becoming a judge.
Also, while courting The Dohrn, Sidley was getting rid of many fine lawyers to avoid making them partners. What a sordid bunch.
