Sen. John McCain was unimpressed with Vice President Joe Bidens comments in Ukraine on Tuesday and the Arizona Republican suggested that the Obama administration was not backing up its tough talk against Russia.
Speaking in Ukraine, the vice president said that we call on Russia to stop supporting men hiding behind masks in unmarked uniforms sewing unrest in eastern Ukraine. McCain, appearing on MSNBCs Morning Joe on Tuesday, responded to Bidens remarks with a question: Or else what?
Or else what? McCain repeated. If they continue to do this, what will we do?
The Senate Armed Services Committee member has been a frequent critic of the Obama administration on many foreign policy issues, including Ukraine and Syria. On Tuesday, McCain said the administration needs to show greater support for Ukraine and back up its rhetoric. He also urged the White House to tell the American people why its important that [Russian President Vladimir] Putins aggression not continue.
Its time we said the people of Ukraine deserve free and fair elections, they deserve our support, McCain said.
He also said that President Barack Obama does not appreciate, in my view, the importance of American leadership.
Hey McCain... you have no room to talk... mr. “We have nothing to fear from an Obama presidency”
Go home
Back in 2008 I had no doubt that McCain would lose.
Just like GHWB became obsolete at the end of Cold War, McCain became obsolete when Americans grew tied of costly invasions and occupations of poor backward muslin crap-holes.
He was far from what voters were looking for,.
McCain will probably be equally as gun ho when the government turns guns on We The People.
McCain is frustrated. Any war will do!
“I will have more flexibility after the election.”
Obama is on Putin’s team.
And Joe is along for the free haircuts.
Send in McCain in A-4. Let him test Russian defences this time.
:: the vice president said that we call on Russia to stop supporting men hiding behind masks in unmarked uniforms sewing unrest in eastern Ukraine. ::
Seems mr. Topaz needs a better editor at the Politico. Unless he was implying that Ivan is a poor tailor.
It seems that the ‘sewing’ should relate to the uniforms rather than the unrest........
This makes me wonder if John’s wife has business interests in the Ukraine. Occasionally McCain and some of the old sleaze in the GOPe stumble across something that is right, but mostly they are as corrupt as Democrats, doing what they do for corrupt reasons.
One moron mocks another. :-)
John McCain’s horrid legacy damaging the United States will always be topped off with the phrase “America has nothing to fear in a President Barack Obama.”
I knew at that instant that he lost the election. He was giving permission to millions of nervous voters unsure of Obama that it would be okay for them to “cast an historic vote” for the “first black president”. Had he not said that, and had he allowed Sarah to be more effective, he just may have pulled off the upset.
McCain is a great Senior Vice President of Sales for the financial-military-industrial-drug complex. He doesn’t have much leadership ability, but he’s always selling.
McCain has always been an idiot, spent years as drunkard protected by a cabal of related admirals who got him through flight school and kept him as far away from the flagpole as possible. A terribly inept pilot, news of his capture was greeted with sighs of relief throughout the fleet. His personal behaviour as an officer was a disgrace. Arizona, home of Gov(!) Big Sis AND Senator(!) McCain? Those desert dwellers must really suffer from caput in ano.
If he had voted against TARP, I think it would have sealed the deal.
Instead he suspends his campaign to fly back to Washington DC to do.........nothing.
Was that before or after he had his special meeting with mac daddy or before or after he stabed his running mate in the back?
STRANGE - Oh wait mac daddy involved, never mind.
LOL, sadly.
