When MRCTVs Dan Joseph talked with protesters outside the National Rifle Associations headquarters in Fairfax, Va., earlier this week, he was able to really encapsulate the anti-gun crowds argument against the Second Amendment.
When asked if a person who believes their life is in danger should be able to defend themselves with a firearm, one protester simply said, No.
Only a law enforcement officer should be allowed to use weapons, she said. The same woman also told Joseph that he shouldnt be able to carry a gun in a bad neighborhood, because he shouldnt be walking around in a bad neighborhood in the first place.
Another protester claimed that 30,000 people die every year to gun violence, and its all the NRAs fault.
People who go out and buy a bunch of guns are just paranoid and misinformed, a female protester argued.
Well,,,, I'll tell you what lady,,,, I'll just grab your "wide load" and use you for a shield.
Only a law enforcement officer should be allowed to use weapons,
Where in the heck did this numb skull get her education. I have yet to see 911 respond faster than a life saving bullet.
shouldnt be walking around in a bad neighborhood in the first place
He lady,,,, did it ever occur to you that not everybody can afford to live in a cushy neighborhood? Guess not huh?
30,000 people die every year to gun violence see foot note 1
Wonder if she has a clue about how many lives were saved because of guns.
its all the NRAs fault
Good grief,,,, I;m certainly relieved that us gun totting patriots weren't included in who's at fault. Phew!!!! for a brief moment I thought I was a serial killer.
are just paranoid
No lady,,,, but what we are is alive and well,
Foot note 1: Data supplied by MSNBC
The police -- Faster than a speeding bullet!
Not. Most of the time all they can do for you is tag and bag you and maybe, MAYBE catch the perp after the fact.
Only law enforcement .... And criminals apparently
Maybe they catch the perp, maybe they don't, but you can say goodbye to your dog first.
58 mins was the elapsed time for my only call to the police.
You do the math.
Well good for her. As for me and mine we will just blow the perp away. When she comes to protest our action we will just be glad we are still alive to hear her naivety. If she gets blown away we will raise a toast to her commitment.
If the adults slain at Sandy Hook could have a do-over, I’m sure they would have prefered to have faced Adam Lanza with a gun in their own hands as opposed to heroically shielding the kids with their bodies.
And I just made up a fresh keg of stump juice,,,, I'll save ya one huge slash of it my friend. Hydrometer=171. If I ever see someone in danger I'm first going to ask if he/she is a liberal. If the answer is yes I'll simply bid them a good day and move on.
Dang. I thought those response times only occurred on the reservation. Two hours sometimes for a cop to get to a school.
yeah...that’s working out real well for the folks in Chicago.
Meanwhile Detroit is racking up a banner year for defensive shootings which are primarily people defending their homes. I’m guessing this idiot thinks the people should just escape out a back door if someone kicks in the front door.
Time of flight of life saving bullet: .01 seconds.
Time to find shovel: 2 minutes.
Time to dig shallow grave for assailant: 30 minutes (more if ground is rocky).
Time to drop corpse in grave: 2 minutes (depends on size).
Time to cover up: 5 minutes.
Time left until police arrive: 19 minutes.
Yep. It’s doable....
Don't know what that is, but I will be willing to down at least a glass with you.
Well, on the one hand I am happy that such mentally deficient and unstable persons as those gun control advocates realize that they should not have access to weapons.
On the other, I really wish they would stop projecting their psychosis and inherent deficiencies onto the rest of the population.
This is a closed mind. There is no need for debate. Nothing that you can say will change her mind. She is locked in.
Yes indeed. Plus that still leaves enough time to get to the local gin mill for last call. See ya there.
Good ole NC shine
Shine is fine. Probably take my breath away, but when I get on a rant that is not a bad thing.
