LAKE OSWEGO, Ore. (AP) The GOP is making a bold play for a U.S. Senate seat in reliably Democratic Oregon, where a Republican hasn't been elected to a statewide office in more than a decade.
Republicans back in Washington think they've found the right candidate in Monica Wehby, a children's brain surgeon who's raised more than $1 million and put her early opposition to President Barack Obama's health care law at the center of her campaign.
The race is shaping up to be a strong test of the GOP strategy of relentlessly using the health law against Democrats in hopes of regaining control of the Senate.
The rollout of the law in Oregon has been worse than in most other states, and Republicans are hoping a doctor has the credibility to capitalize on the resulting voter discontent.

Of course, to have any chance to win Oregon, she’ll have to “marry” another woman.

We have a much better chance of taking the Michigan seat, the Republican is well ahead in the polls.

Of course, to have any chance to win Oregon, shell have to marry another woman. It may take more than just that in Oregon.
Unless, of course, the other woman is a minority, whom the Doctor met when performing an abortion on the blastocyst, which was the result of an abusive relationship with a rich white banker.
With all that, she would have a fair chance.

Monica Wehby is not just a RINO, she is another Trojan Horse Democrat pretending to be a Republican.
She is Pro-Abortion and Pro-Comprehensive Immigration Reform(Amnesty), that's no a Republican guys, that's a Democrat.
GOP should consider Oregon in push for Senate seat

Don't waste time on Oregon.
It actually makes sense, strategically, if looked at as a sacrifice fly.
Put the Oregon seat in danger, make the Dems funnel increasingly tight/scarce resources (given all the places they need to defend, they won't have nearly enough $$$ to cover it all) into the state and possibly tip a Michigan and/or another close race into GOP hands.
So I don't really care that she's a RINO/GOPe. I want to wake up the morning after the election to Ted Cruz making the rounds claiming a mandate as a result of a massive pickup in the Senate. So if this woman scares the living daylights out of the Dems, and makes them overreact into throwing $$$ to defend what should be a "safe" seat for them, I'm all for it.

I, for one, am not in favor of another Republican Traitor in the senate. There is an actual conservative running, Jason Conger.
I think I'll follow the founders example and not sacrifice my principles.

If the GOP passes amnesty you can kiss a GOP senate majority bye bye.
In fact, the GOP may even lose the house, if they pass amnesty.

I would like to hear from the people of Oregon about their take on that. I know nothing about the candidate other than this type of feedback.
