*shakes head*
It’s mostly the irreligious left that are perpetually offended by the views of others. They want, no demand to be flattered and told that they’re the center of the universe.
The narrow constitutional sense!
As an American Constitutional lawyer, one must stop & ponder that phrase. Surely the fact that writers & Professors have rushed down the rabbit hole in England, to embrace Alice & the Mad Hatter, is just one more sign of the times; a sign that goes at least part of the way to illustrate the insanity now destroying the West.

Isn’t Great Britain’s national anthem God Save the Queen? It’s not Allah Save the Queen.
Britain is shaped better by post-Christian forces? Hmmm. It’s certainly more inclusive for non-British invaders. I’ll give them that. On the one hand, you have a non-religious (anti-religious?) socialist state that’s heading for 1984-style totalitarianism (it’s already a soft tyranny). On the other hand, you have Muslims who want an Islamic state. Let’s see how that works out...
Its fascinating our secular intellectuals in America use the exact opposite argument.
Though we are sociologically overwhelmingly Christian, we have no specification of a Christian established church so we are not Christian.
There is an anti-Christian intellectual establishment that will do anything to deny the faith.
Unfortunately, we let the Left here win that argument even though there is U.S. Supreme Court precedent declaring that the U.S. is a Christian country.
So everything from the Venerable Bede to WWII is irrelevant to Britain’s development?
These “cultural leaders” talk like idiots.
Let the Mohammedans sort ‘em out. We have bigger fish to fry.
Yeah, well I can probably cut the atheist cult members some slack on this one. Cameron probably should have said that 'he wished Great Britain was still a Christian country'.
The days when Queen Victoria said, "That book [the Bible] accounts for the supremacy of England" are sadly long past.
Unfortunately America's Academia, Politicians, and Media termites are rushing headlong to slouch our Nation towards Gomorrah, and we aren't too far behind the Brits.
The flag bears the crosses of St. Patrick, St. Andrew and St. George. "For England, and St. George" was their battle cry and their motto is: "Dieu et mon droit" which is French for "God and my right (hand)".
Why did ‘Christian’, David Cameron push for “gay marriage”?
Sometimes fostering some division is the right thing to do.
Meanwhile, David Cameron has just set the police on the Bishop of Oxford for protesting his government’s policies.
