BUNKERVILLE — A GMC pickup motors across a bridge over the Virgin River, kicking up a cloud of desert.
The door swings open. This is my ticket inside the militia that’s become rancher Cliven Bundy’s fighting brigade.
Brandon Rapolla, a 39-year-old concrete mixer from Oregon, steers the truck toward the militia camp that’s assembled to support Bundy’s battle with the Bureau of Land Management.
There’s an assault rifle propped between Rapolla’s knees. A .338 Magnum rifle, designed to take down big game at a distance the length of three football fields or more, rests within arm’s reach on the back seat under a ghillie suit that’s used by snipers to blend with the brush. Next to my left leg, on the console, there’s a 7-inch Marine-issued knife.
Rapolla is prepared for a war with his government. His guns, he says, aren’t just a show of force. Not knowing what to expect when he rolled into town, he says he was ready to die — and, if he must, shoot a federal agent.
“Our pistols are shooting through my f****** window if there’s a roadblock, then we’re f****** getting out,” he said. “We’re gonna go to wherever the guns are blazing. We’re not gonna walk to a f****** bloody (battlefield).”
In a brief rant from his truck bed, Rapolla used the F-bomb seven times to describe his anxiety and adrenaline he felt driving into Bunkerville.
As they arrived in Nevada, Rapolla and fellow militia members said they were convinced the BLM was bent on wiping out Bundy and his family....

The Democrats have cranked up their propaganda teams to spin their lost battle for the Bundys’ ranch:
“Comrades! Attention comrades, we have glorious news for you: subhuman Eurasian cowboys are surrendering in droves!”
Several questions and/or points.
Why is an Arizona Sheriff there? Reid “hinted” that he’d “heard” that a sheriff said they’d put women and children in front to keep the agents from shooting. First of all, federal agents seem to get off on killing women and children so that wouldn’t help the cowboys. Second, if this is true, there’s an AZ Sheriff outside his jurisdiction.
Bundy is a Mormon. Reid is a Mormon. What does the “prophet” have to say about this? Does he side with the political power and those with money?
Finally, the t-shirt would be cooler if it said “The Battle of Bunker-VILLE”. A play on Bunker Hill.
The Las Vegas Sun is like most papers in large cities, they are better fitted to line canary cages and to soak up the mess you make when changing out the wax seal on a toilet.
As you rightly pointed out, Weaver was a kook, Koresch was a kook (he was a little out there for my taste but to each his own), the Gonzales family were kooks, and on and on.
Yet the one certifiable kook, Jim Jones was....a communist, the Heavens gate cult, leftists, and many, many, more that are never mentioned.
Anything that opposes Bath House Barry or any democRAT must be demonized and marginalized. Then destroyed.
Idaho has lots of land tied up by the feds. The state government receives Payment In Lieue of Taxes from the feds as compensation for property taxes that can’t be collected from land owners that can’t own the land. The AUM suspension strikes me as a 5th amendment “taking without just compensation”. Your capital has been seized and made illiquid and unproductive. Government fueled inflation is eroding its value. You have a valid claim of economic harm.

I’m getting intel that government people are flooding into Los Vegas hotels. Setting around playing slots and a lot of them are up to the Bunny Ranch. Whores, slots and a lot of them look like paid mercs. short hair on top and beards tactical pants and shirts. These are not Park Rangers unless we slipped back into the Sand Box. We are going to be in the SHIT in the next week.

I used to have fire an M1 at that range from a sitting position. and prone at 600yds with iron sights. I couldn’t do it any that anymore (old eyes) but I haven’t forgot how its done and I still have some equipment. I could still get at least one of the FKers.
