U.S. Sen. Harry Reid on Thursday called supporters of Bunkerville rancher Cliven Bundy domestic terrorists because they defended him against a Bureau of Land Management cattle roundup with guns and put their children in harms way.
Theyre nothing more than domestic terrorists, Reid said during an appearance at a Las Vegas Review-Journal Hashtags & Headlines event at the Paris. I repeat: what happened there was domestic terrorism.

Because the solar power companies will pay more than the rancher can. Pure and simple, this is about $.
This is all anyone needs to know about where this is headed.
Not just domestic terrorists. The worst kind. Bitter Clinging domestic terrorists.
One man’s terrorist, another man’s freedom fighter.
It’s just politics. If the Democrats thought they could get votes by saying “2 + 2 = 5”, they’d do it.
And I think liberals are “domestic terrorists” !
so I guess it’s fair.
funny... that I don’t remember the left being bothered by the occupy movement not paying for the permits to stage their protests!
I wonder if he would say that to my face. Gonna call his office and ask...
Maybe Reid could use a little “terror”(?)
Hey Harry? When are you going to start standing up for the state of Nevada? For the people of Nevada? Or even for the people of the USA?
You act as if you are a representative and defender of the unconstitutional Marxist/fascist regime currently squatting in DC. You’re not. You’re supposed to be representing the state and people of Nevada against the unconstitutional encroachment and oppression by the overstepping central government.
You, comrade Senator, and your heavily armed fascist dogs at the BLM (in this case) are the domestic terrorists!
Where do you come off sending in hundreds of armed government storm troopers to collect a so-called debt? And who authorized these fascist goons to threaten to SHOOT hundreds of innocent Americans, including men, women and children? This is (or used to be) America!
You, Obama and the BLM are clearly the domestic terrorists in this case. Your corrupt facist government action here is tyranny!!
Thank God real Americans see through your corruption and un-American Marxism/fascism and exercised their first and second amendment rights to defend Bundy’s rights and our liberty and avoided a bloodbath. Any blood spilled in this case would’ve been spilled directly due to your own corrupt, grimey, greedy hands!!
Your corrupt deals with Communist China and others to exploit the land and the environmentalist movement for your own personal corrupt political and financial gain is high crimes and treason!!
You and your unindicted co-conspirators in the senate, house and executive branch, in fact, including the corrupt progressive judges that allow this oppression of the American people to continue unabated should be up on charges.
Praying the good people of Nevada find a way to overcome the mobster/corrupt union fraud that gets you reelected and puts you out to pasture soon.
Yep, once you're declared a "terrorist", they can use the US Military.
Where's the video of the feds, sicking their dogs, pointing guns at, and tazing, the Bundy's? ANd throwing a pregnant woman to the ground. Tell me who the terrorists are?
Then again-to the democrat party- the American Cowboy is a domestic terrorist.
This picture and Reid's comment should be posted everywhere.
The same applies with a declared “Insurrection”.
When Republicans are running the country, they perceive America's enemies to be foreign.
When democrats are running the country, they perceive America's enemies to be domestic. This is very dangerous.
You’re right.
Seventy-two killed resisting gun confiscation in Boston!
Boston – National Guard units seeking to confiscate a cache of recently banned assault weapons were ambushed by elements of a Para-military extremist faction. Military and law enforcement sources estimate that 72 were killed and more than 200 injured before government forces were compelled to withdraw.
Speaking after the clash, Massachusetts Governor Thomas Gage declared that the extremist faction, which was made up of local citizens, has links to the radical right-wing tax protest movement.
Gage blamed the extremists for recent incidents of vandalism directed against internal revenue offices. The governor, who described the group’s organizers as “criminals,” issued an executive order authorizing the summary arrest of any individual who has interfered with the government’s efforts to secure law and order.
The military raid on the extremist arsenal followed wide-spread refusal by the local citizenry to turn over recently outlawed assault weapons.
Gage issued a ban on military-style assault weapons and ammunition earlier in the week. This decision followed a meeting in early this month between government and military leaders at which the governor authorized the forcible confiscation of illegal arms.
One government official, speaking on condition of anonymity, pointed out that “none of these people would have been killed had the extremists obeyed the law and turned over their weapons voluntarily.”
Government troops initially succeeded in confiscating a large supply of outlawed weapons and ammunition. However, troops attempting to seize arms and ammunition in Lexington met with resistance from heavily-armed extremists who had been tipped off regarding the government’s plans.
During a tense standoff in the Lexington town park, National Guard Colonel Francis Smith, commander of the government operation, ordered the armed group to surrender and return to their homes. The impasse was broken by a single shot, which was reportedly fired by one of the right-wing extremists.
Eight civilians were killed in the ensuing exchange.
Ironically, the local citizenry blamed government forces rather than the extremists for the civilian deaths. Before order could be restored, armed citizens from surrounding areas had descended upon the guard units. Colonel Smith, finding his forces over matched by the armed mob, ordered a retreat.
Governor Gage has called upon citizens to support the state/national joint task force in its effort to restore law and order. The governor also demanded the surrender of those responsible for planning and leading the attack against the government troops.
Samuel Adams, Paul Revere, and John Hancock, who have been identified as “ringleaders” of the extremist faction, remain at large.
And this fellow Americans, is how the American Revolution began, April 20, 1775.
I'd prefer Stifler's mom...
Pretty much.
