No, I don't think so. The role of the Messiah was to unite the twelve tribes and establish a kingdom of Israel. If he didn't do that (which he didn't) then he didn't fulfill their prophecy.

No, that is not logical. The vast majority of Scriptures point to Jesus as being the Savior for the world. You need to read the Bible.

How sad!
It is amazing that out of those 12 disciples, 11 died horrible deaths and the one that lived was boiled alive in oil, all because they refused to save themselves by recanting their preaching that he was the Son of God. Most were told they could go free if they would just recant.
What politician are you willing to die for or be boiled alive in oil for claiming they are the Son of God, when they are just a politician?

This is where you get into trouble...leaning on your own understanding, I mean.
-Old Testament prophecy posits a Messiah who will unite the 12 tribes and re-establish the Kingdom of Israel.
-Jesus, if he lived, was a traveling speaker with followers who many felt was this Messiah.
-He was killed.
-Much work has been done on this story since then to mold it into something relevant for other purposes.
-Meanwhile, it's been 2000 years and he hasn't come back.
But look, if it adds meaning to your life, have at it. Most of what humanity does is some form of entertainment or fulfillment or titillation. We only spend a small percentage of our intellect and energy on survival. All the rest is filler.
Remember, that was the Middle East and let’s face it, those folks are nuts even today. Politics and religion were the same. There was no separation of church and state; that’s an American invention.

That's because the British Isles are islands separated from Europe, that have never been considered part of the European "Continent." They're a distinct people set apart on a distinct group of islands, just as Ireland is as well. Most Americans who find this baffling have a poor grasp of both history and geography.
I believe they are largely surrounded by mountain ranges and bodies of water, thus the separation.

No, there isn't any need to mold it into anything. The Bible stands on its own as truth. Many people like yourself try to mold it to fit the world system. However, the world system is transitory. God's purposes are much higher...eternal life.

Which parts were written before?
I have a personal theory that much was written down by the scribes who were often present when Jesus spoke. I surmise these scribes were sent to catch Jesus in heresy. I further surmise the so called "Q" document that the synoptic gospels allegedly draw from are documents written by the scribes and made available by someone like Nicodemus. This is my total speculation.
Perhaps he is an unknowing follower of early Christianity that Arius defended against attacks by Athanasius, that ended up being declared a heresy in 379 upon The Emperor Theodosius’s Edict of 380. Both Arius and Athanasius were dead by then.
