Former Rep. Gabby Giffords (D-Ariz.) wants members of the Senate Judiciary Committee to hold a hearing on "preventing gun violence against women," the first step to passing (gun control) legislation, she says.
"[M]any of those who perpetrate violence against women are still allowed easy access to firearms," Giffords wrote this month in an open letter to the Judiciary Committee.
Giffords writes that women are more likely than men to be killed or stalked by an intimate partner; and she says having a gun in a household with a history of domestic violence makes it much more likely that a women will be killed there.

But she does NOT give a crap about violence against children in the womb?
How can anybody have a experience like this and yet not change the way they live their life, I mean she almost died but is still spitting on Christ by continuing on with this evil Democrat party
Gabs going for a twofer...bad guns and war-on-wimmins. Who keeps trotting her out like this?
Got a better idea.
Hold hearings on setting up “assertiveness training” for women along safe carry and marksmanship classes.
Esp. for second or third generation Moslem women.
That foul piece of dog-crap Mark Giffords needs to STFU and quit abusing his wife.
There really should be a law against shooting a woman.
Unfortunately, she completely missed the influence of guns on climate change.
The answer to that is simple:
ARM, TRAIN, AND LICENSE WOMEN!
(All the ranges around here have special “Ladies Nite” free shooting for women! And you can bet I schedule my days accordingly...hahaha!)
Let me know when there’s a hearing on preventing aluminum bat violence against women.
“Gabby” is a meat-puppet for her abusive husband Mark Giffords. Same as with James Brady being abused as a meat-puppet by his abusive wife Sarah Brady. Gun-control freaks are loathsome.
I've been arguing that for a long time. I've read about a lot women being shot and killed by their exes, but I've always wondered how many of the murdered women were armed at the time. I would guess very few to none.
What a pandering, divisive bunch of idiots these people are
Gun violence “against women”
“My (black) Brother’s Keeper”

But I was told that restraining orders are all a woman needs to protect herself. /s
So by the title .. gun violence against men is ok ?
When I saw the headlines, I thought she was taking a stand against the BLM!
C’mon Gabby, surely you can fit more focus-group tested Democrat party talking points in than that.
How about:
Equal-Pay-Through-Increased-Minimum-Wage-For-Women-Who-Prevent-Gun-Violence-Against-Women-By-Mitigating-The-Effects-Of-Climate-Change.
Or you’re racist! And it’s Bush’s fault!!
I wish she’d get a new hobby.
Hey I have ideas that are in line with this lady’s thinking.
Maybe we can hold a meeting to announce that we will be holding a meeting to decide the time and place to hold a meeting.
Then we can hold that meeting to announce that guns are BAD.
Then make it illegal to rape or murder anyone.
Then we can tell rapists and murderers, “Hey, don’t do that”
Then we can put up signs that say ‘Gun Free Zone’ because we know that rapists and murderers always obey signs.
Then we tell rapists and murderers that they will get in ‘big trouble’ if they rape or murder someone.
Then, of course, lunch break.
Then go over minutes from before lunch break.
Then tell rapists and murderers they are not supposed to use guns. That should stop all rapes right there.(knifes, bats, and fists are a different meeting)
OR
We could arm women and teach them tactical lethal self-defense so that if they are ever approached by a rapist or murderer, then they have a .357 to even the odds.
Yeah, that’s better.
