LOL That could be said for most mountain folk who raise their kids in em. Wooooooo...the things you get into.

Humans created that bear problem, plain and simple. There can only be two possible outcomes from the start of that stupidity.

The bears are removed before they harm someone there and then they will instantly become someone else's problem to deal with.

OR They will attack someone there and will be destroyed locally.

It seems that they took door number two this time.

We grew up helping the county LEO's find stupid lost flatlanders. Sometimes they would be able to walk out and sometimes they brought them out in buckets and/or bags. I've found more than one child that the parents were too damned stupid to keep track of.

Sorry to impose some reality into your limited thinking but the most dangerous animal by far on this earth in Human. All of our children know that at a very young age. They know well and understand, from first hand observation, that the gene pool is regularly cleaned of those who do not know, understand, and respect the natural world.

What we have here is the arrogance of flatlander/city slickers who think that they know everything about everywhere. Look over your shoulder at the "inner city" a few blocks away and try to impress me about your knowledge of animals. Explain to how this continuing reality demonstrates to me your ability to deal with lethal and threatening situations so that none of your children die.

In your culture you accept the threats to your children from the gangs and drug cartels. In your culture you can not, have not, and will not protect your own youth in your own back yard.

In my culture we permanently eliminate the known threats to our children's lives at the first opportunity.

Which culture would you say was more civilized?

Being an educated mountain boy I have all of the comparative statistics of deaths per K of youth in the different areas. If you want to discuss this further we can.

Well, I’m not sure why your all twisted up about bears, but...ok. I wasn’t referring to “bears” when I said, Wooooo...the things you get into. Looks like your limited thinking precedes you. And, several times in your posts.

And more importantly, I am FULLY aware of the stupidity of the multitudes. Nor am I saying they are right for what they do, or don’t know. AND, you cannot live where I live and NOT know about one of the most dangerous animals(after man)are. Are you kidding? LOL. What you “think” is MY culture, is worlds away from what you are talking about, that I don’t understand.

The time I spent time in Florida, I did so because it was job related. So, your ability to discern what I’ve been saying is very minimal. This includes your ignorance as to what a flatlander is. Why do you believe that anyone who lives on flat land lives in a city, and is “slick”? LOL. Your “oldenuff2no” that’s not true.

I’ve already mentioned I live in, and am from the mountains...and that I am aware of what a bear problem is caused by humans. But we also have instances where I live that when we get very little run-off, the bears will come down to any water they can find, and, hit up any orchards they can find. And probably garbage along the way too. All unprovoked by humans. Where I live, we understand that nature too, sometimes creates problem bears but we still love the bear. Did you know this? About nature?

So, it’s a shame you paint with such a broad “mountain-educated” brush, because it’s not representative of all mountain folk. The funny thing we have with ‘lost’ people, is that they are tourists from OTHER surrounding mountainous states! Mostly.

And even though YOU may forget, there are certain mountain folk types who, in and of themselves regularly clean out their own gene pool because they don’t understand or respect the “natural” world. So, to me...neither culture is more civilized than the other. And, I’d be lying if I said there were no stupid mountain parents who do the same darn thing when it comes to their kid’s safety. Your such a BS’er. With your incompassionate attitude towards humans, I don’t know how you coexist WITH nature. Honestly.

Peace be to ya, though.
