“LOL That could be said for most mountain folk who raise their kids in em. Wooooooo...the things you get into.

Humans created that bear problem, plain and simple. There can only be two possible outcomes from the start of that stupidity.

In your culture you accept the threats to your children from the gangs and drug cartels. In your culture you can not, have not, and will not protect your own youth in your own back yard.”

Well, I’m not sure why your all twisted up about bears, but...ok. I wasn’t referring to “bears” when I said, Wooooo...the things you get into. Looks like your limited thinking precedes you. And, several times in your posts.

And more importantly, I am FULLY aware of the stupidity of the multitudes. Nor am I saying they are right for what they do, or don’t know. AND, you cannot live where I live and NOT know about one of the most dangerous animals(after man)are. Are you kidding? LOL. What you “think” is MY culture, is worlds away from what you are talking about, that I don’t understand.

The time I spent time in Florida, I did so because it was job related. So, your ability to discern what I’ve been saying is very minimal. This includes your ignorance as to what a flatlander is. Why do you believe that anyone who lives on flat land lives in a city, and is “slick”? LOL. Your “oldenuff2no” that’s not true.

I’ve already mentioned I live in, and am from the mountains...and that I am aware of what a bear problem is caused by humans. But we also have instances where I live that when we get very little run-off, the bears will come down to any water they can find, and, hit up any orchards they can find. And probably garbage along the way too. All unprovoked by humans. Where I live, we understand that nature too, sometimes creates problem bears but we still love the bear. Did you know this? About nature?

So, it’s a shame you paint with such a broad “mountain-educated” brush, because it’s not representative of all mountain folk. The funny thing we have with ‘lost’ people, is that they are tourists from OTHER surrounding mountainous states! Mostly.

And even though YOU may forget, there are certain mountain folk types who, in and of themselves regularly clean out their own gene pool because they don’t understand or respect the “natural” world. So, to me...neither culture is more civilized than the other. And, I’d be lying if I said there were no stupid mountain parents who do the same darn thing when it comes to their kid’s safety. Your such a BS’er. With your incompassionate attitude towards humans, I don’t know how you coexist WITH nature. Honestly.

Peace be to ya, though.

Yours is an interesting opinion and proves beyond any doubt that old adage to be True.

Assumed intellectual experience combined with arrogance and a limited horizon of reality makes for a very boring life.

I've been to see the elephant, all over the world. I have lived in many cultures and walked away with life and limb intact from all of them. I accomplished all assigned tasks and missions in all of these different cultures. I also speak from the experience gained from 23+ years of observing others on their home ground.

I still much prefer the culture of the high mountains when the cops are hours away and all problems are my own to solve. I guess that speaks to the difference in our abilities and experience.

So what am I BSing about? Killing a bear, or many of them? They are easy to kill and not hard to find. My son took his first bear when he was 12. Black bears are huge chickens in their wild state. If they know you are there they are not. Every kid who is raised in the woods knows this, and although they are rare, knows the exceptions to this truth.

There are two basic problems in our discussion. You know nothing about truly wild animals in their natural habitat and you judge others by you own very limited experience and knowledge.

And true to the arrogant form of the ignorant, you make a personal attack out of it when all the other tools in your box have failed.

Have a great day. I'm done.
