Trump: ‘I Would Build a Border Fence Like You Have Never Seen Before’
Breitbart ^ | 4-12-14 | Robert Wilde

Posted on 04/13/2014 4:16:17 PM PDT by equalator

Donald Trump said that “not only is Obamacare a disaster, it is the single greatest lie that I have ever witnessed. As far as immigration is concerned, Trump boasted that he is a builder and that he likes to build things. He said that, if he was in charge of America, “I would build a border fence like you have never seen before.”

Well since we have yet to see a border fence of any sort... It wouldn’t be too hard to build a border fence unlike any seen before.

******************

We have varying types of border fences. Trump would have to work out a concept for sure.

NOTHING comes close to threatening our country as the $4 trillion out of control federal government. The point is the Right is splintered on a lot of other less critical issues. But the Right can and MUST unite on this most important of all political issues. If not, none of these other issues will matter because you won’t have any choice in them anyway. The federal government will finish what it has started: doing away with your constitutional rights and the Constitution itself - the ONLY legal document standing between you and totalitarianism. Illegals may be a problem but don’t come close to this.

Crooks, banksters, and illegals may be a problem but don’t come close to this. The Right is splintered on the issues of banksters, and illegals as well as other political issues, but can unite against America's #1 enemy: the $4 trillion federal government (which of course include bureaucrats and politicians of every ilk). The federal government needs to be cut by at least 80% and put back into its Constitutional cage where it belongs. If you don't get that, then you may end up unwittingly being part of the problem instead of part of the solution.

We don’t need a fence.

We just need to stop running a welfare state.

No benefits of any sort = no illegals.

"Donald, the enemy isn’t immigrants. America’s #1 enemy is the $4 trillion out of control federal government that threatens our life, freedoms and way of life. The Constitution is the fence around it. Let’s keep government inside THAT FENCE."

The debt though is largely due to unemployment and off-shoring our industries. Trump is the strongest candidate on trade issues. He understands them. None of the others even touch on trade.

He's not perfect by any means, I don't think he's a social conservative. But Trump is strong on immigration. He's strong on trade and protecting America's economic interests.

On social issues, Trump doesn't seem to have a strong value base that he makes decisions from. But Trump's not going to be as bad as Romney who was putting gay activists on the judicial bench as governor.

Here's my point - to all of us on the Right:

We have lots of issues and enemies, but NOTHING politically comes close to threatening our country as the $4 trillion out of control federal government. The point is the Right is splintered on a lot of other less critical issues. But the Right can and MUST unite on this most important of all political issues. The Right must also educate itself about the FREE MARKET ECONOMY which is the alternative to all this nonsense.

If not, none of these other issues will matter because you won’t have any choice in them anyway. The federal government will finish what it has started: doing away with your constitutional rights and the Constitution itself - the ONLY legal document standing between you and totalitarianism. We must support whoever understands this and whatever will implement at least an 80% cut in government right away. The limited Convention of States proposed by Citizens for Self-Govenance is a big step in the right direction.

Does anyone know what the gang sign with index and little finger held out and others held in mean?

The hand gesture is an old world superstitious gesture used to ward off "The Evil Eye". It was made famous by on-stage use by Ronnie James Dio, one of the most influential vocalists of the heavy metal music genre.

Alternative answer... It's a gang from Austin, TX... known as The Longhorns.

"Hook 'em Horns!"

I likeJITB breakfast sandwiches and the fact that they served them all day long. Since I worked odd hours it was great.

Just so long as it doesn't look like the Berlin wall. That's a progressive icon.

Rand Paul's immigration speech
...The Republican Party must embrace more legal immigration.

Unfortunately, like many of the major debates in Washington, immigration has become a stalemate-where both sides are imprisoned by their own rhetoric or attachment to sacred cows that prevent the possibility of a balanced solution.

Immigration Reform will not occur until Conservative Republicans, like myself, become part of the solution. I am here today to begin that conversation.

Let's start that conversation by acknowledging we aren't going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants.

If you wish to work, if you wish to live and work in America, then we will find a place for you...

This is where prudence, compassion and thrift all point us toward the same goal: bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society.

Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors.

Rand Paul calls on conservatives to embrace immigration reform
Latinos, should be a natural constituency for the party, Paul argued, but "Republicans have pushed them away with harsh rhetoric over immigration." ...he would create a bipartisan panel to determine how many visas should be granted for workers already in the United States and those who might follow... [and the buried lead] "Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers...
